>look up the song >she describes the lyrics as being about changing places between a boy and girl because they could never truly understand each others challenges >the zoomies haven't realized how problematic this is yet

Is this what people were posting about? I mean it's a good song that's become almost a tradition top be covered every 10 years.
>not liking kate bush
https://www.katebush.com/news/stranger-things
Is Kate Bush an incel? Seems like she went on tour once and then stopped talking to the media until just now.
not really >The song itself has often been misinterpreted. Bush herself has said: >I was trying to say that, really, a man and a woman can't understand each other because we are a man and a woman. And if we could actually swap each other's roles, if we could actually be in each other's place for a while, I think we'd both be very surprised! [Laughs] And I think it would lead to a greater understanding. And really the only way I could think it could be done was either...

Congratulations, you finally figured out that the entirety of Stranger Things posting on this board for the past 2 weeks has been nothing but astroturfed bullshit.
It's a climatic scene, of course there's no pay off with no context
that said I don't think it was amazing or anything and Stranger Things has sucked since season 1
I've only watched it because it's not a bad story and focuses on the idea of spiritual evil but otherwise it's a very evil thing with a lot of nasty agendas. The average viewer wouldn't care about the later and he'll barely notice as he's already been fried with this since forever.. it's probably meant for kids to be programmed as they were the primary audience.

I remember when everyone who watches this kid's show for children was cumming themselves because they used "When It's Cold I'd Like to Die" in season 1 and pretending like it was the greatest use of music ever when it wasn't even the best use of that song on a TV show
true. Rick and Morty fans were creaming themselves over that scene where Morty says "nothing matters I'm a nihilist gay, come watch some TV" and they played "Look on Down from the Bridge"
The Sopranos already had a better use of that song 15 years before that episode came out
I only remember "should i stay or should I go" from Season 1.
I've enjoyed Stranger Things but I have no energy to watch this new season. Wtf?
You could just watch Season 1 and Season 4 and it would be great. They explain the upside down and how the enemies were created which is great. I hated the Russian storyline though because it was hyped up at the end of Season 3 and now it just drags on and on with constant scenes of "any normal person would have died in that situation"
Explaining the upside down and the origins of Vecna was literally the worst part of the season imo. The entire point of lovecraftian otherworldly entities is that they're beyond human understanding (hence the need for weird DnD analogies so the kids can attempt to wrap their heads around it), so explaining that Vecna is actually a human being from our own world negatively impacts the whole show
I don't mind Vecna being human but the scene right after El sends him to the upside down where he's getting hit by lighting and shit was so fricking bad It made me think much less of the season, easily knocked a couple of points off.
Also showing his arm with the 01 tat in case someone hadn't been watching the last fricking 30 mins of the show and hadn't got it was just painful.
>I don't mind Vecna being human but the scene right after El sends him to the upside down where he's getting hit by lighting and shit was so fricking bad It made me think much less of the season
Same. It almost felt like an American Dad skit with how long the scene went on, then just cuts to present Vecna as if to say "yeah, you get the point".
I remember being slightly surprised having elegia play during the fake funeral for that kid in season one, mind you this was like a year after MGS5 came out
I'm going to be honest with you guys... I actually really love this show and all of the seasons and i wished there were was some cool place to see some nice discussions about it
NTA but frick that. I agree with him but no community infected by Reddditdrones is capable of having a real discussion about the merits of anything beyond "OMG LE FEELZ".
I don’t understand why this is such a popular show. I watched the first season since everyone was begging me to.
It was an obvious 80s nostalgia grab with a little xfiles other 90s sci fi nostalgia. The writing was meh and the show was boring with nothing happening for the majority of it. Am I missing something? Does it get vastly better after season 1 or do I just have shit taste?
>tfw I self insert into the show and try to figure out which capeshit the lads would be reading, then go through my external HDs filled with chronological runs, find something that fits, and pretend I'm there with them in the 80s talking about it
I need a life...
>DUDE REMEMBER THE 80S >REMEMBER WALKMANS >REMEMBER ARCADES >REMEMBER ROLLER SKATES >REMEMBER KATE BUSH
When will the nostalgia for a non existent past end?
I think it's because the world has been kept into some kind of stasis since the 70s.
Think about it, apart from the internet and smartphones, not much has changed.
>This makes zoomies coom in their pants
YIKES
>not liking kate bush
Not everyone is a gay like you
>liking beuatiful things is gay
I bet you have a sub 3pl8 bench
>bottom of the barrel artrock industry plant
>beautiful things
Meg myers has a deeper voice, which I prefer on female singers
but female voices hit those high ranges that(most) males can't.
I like Sadie Sink's bush
>date ginger girl
>she shaves off everything
REEEEEEEEEEE
Just tell her that you're into hair. Women are lazy by nature and love an excuse to do less work.
>you can't enjoy kate bush without liking str*nger th*ngs
morons with this mindset are exactly the reason why something gets totally ruined whenever it shows up in this homosexual little girl show
Who?
This song is hyper cute
deltee this
>look up the song
>she describes the lyrics as being about changing places between a boy and girl because they could never truly understand each others challenges
>the zoomies haven't realized how problematic this is yet
>not using RUSH's song about doing that instead
>the spaces in between leave room for you and I to grow
What, 'The Trees'? Neil Peart wrote that because he saw a funny comic about trees in a newspaper.
The other anon was probably right with entre noris or w/e it's spelt
Anon wtf The Trees, lmao kek
which Rush song would that be then
https://www.katebush.com/news/stranger-things
Is Kate Bush an incel? Seems like she went on tour once and then stopped talking to the media until just now.
>women having challenges
>transsexual themes
no wonder zoomers love it
>seething this hard
Did this show frick your mom or something?
not really

Kate's a terf
nice
>Finally look up and watch the scene

Zoomers are used to listening to xxxtentacion and getting trampled on at travis Scott concerts, this song blew their minds
You don't understand boomer.
The girl in stranger things is literally running up a hill, and the song lyrics say "running up that hill".
Never in history has an accidental perfect alignment happened like this. It was meant to be.
Congratulations, you finally figured out that the entirety of Stranger Things posting on this board for the past 2 weeks has been nothing but astroturfed bullshit.
All the hype over the scene was just the vain hope that they’d have the balls to kill off a main character. But they chickened out.
Literally doesn't make narrative sense to kill her off at this point. Do you even watch the show btw?
I preferred the Placebo cover tbh
As anyone with taste does, fren.
It's a climatic scene, of course there's no pay off with no context
that said I don't think it was amazing or anything and Stranger Things has sucked since season 1
>When bbc hits hard
max boutta get lucas' bbc
Honestly enjoy Meg Myers cover more
That's the original you stupid fricking imbecile.
I've enjoyed Stranger Things but I have no energy to watch this new season. Wtf?
It’s not awful but it’s messy. Too many story arcs leave it feeling very unfocused.
Once they started having multiculti mudshark Black person shit I've lost all interest.
I've only watched it because it's not a bad story and focuses on the idea of spiritual evil but otherwise it's a very evil thing with a lot of nasty agendas. are the evil things with nasty agendas in the room with us right now
If you've anything past season 1 you wasted your time.
absolutely the best use of that song
kino
what's crazy is i hadn't seen this promo since i was about 10 years old and still remember the shit shawn would say like over the music.
I remember when everyone who watches this kid's show for children was cumming themselves because they used "When It's Cold I'd Like to Die" in season 1 and pretending like it was the greatest use of music ever when it wasn't even the best use of that song on a TV show
Sopranos use of music towers over every other show.
true. Rick and Morty fans were creaming themselves over that scene where Morty says "nothing matters I'm a nihilist gay, come watch some TV" and they played "Look on Down from the Bridge"
The Sopranos already had a better use of that song 15 years before that episode came out
I like the scene where they play “Between the Bars”.
I only remember "should i stay or should I go" from Season 1.
You could just watch Season 1 and Season 4 and it would be great. They explain the upside down and how the enemies were created which is great. What would your song be Cinemaphile?
I want to frick a dog in the ass by blink 182

I disavow kate bush
can't be liking her anymore
I'm going to be honest with you guys... I actually really love this show and all of the seasons and i wished there were was some cool place to see some nice discussions about it
Have you tried reddit? I mean that sincerely
NTA but frick that. I agree with him but no community infected by Reddditdrones is capable of having a real discussion about the merits of anything beyond "OMG LE FEELZ".
I saw some discussions threads on one or two episodes but idk i don't like most of the posts, it's not even a "REDDIT BAD" thing.
cool people don't watch stranger things
>Wasted a well-crafted pivotal moment on a shit character
I'm still mad.
>oh wow they used a kate song in stranger things
>it was during the Black person lover scenes
and my expectations back down to 0

I genuinely fricking hate that all the songs i listen to are now popular with zoomers
I still like Kate Bush.
I'm gonna go listen to Wuthering Heights right now. Frick all you homosexuals.
while we're here I'd like to recommend Aerial if you haven't heard it yet
it's very nice
>DUDE REMEMBER THE 80S

Sorry you were born after 9-11 but shit was kino in the 80s and early 90s.
WATCH THE FRICKING SCENE FROM THE SHOW
IT'S SO FRICKING BAD HOLY SHIT
That was weak as frick and the shittiest death bait I've seen in a while.
Make a deal with the devil
Can't listen to this song without thinking of the schizo hyperborea edits. Ig ruined me.
This show is stupid
DUDE POP MUSIC
>can't listen to Kate Bush for a few months without it being associated with shitty pop tv
