This is the second worst thing the Germans have done since invented shite porn
>shitting on shit porn
caca opinion
recent neuroscience has done a lot to exonerate scat porn
THIS is real German kino. Any questions?
>black on wheels
>pink-haired white femboy
omg it's like in my /misc/ memes!!! XD kawaiiiii
>germans consider it a heroic deed to lead a man that trusts you into an ambush
This is the thing that gets me. It's fine to trick people and kill them, that's war, but to act like you're some great warrior or hero because you did it is obnoxious. It reminds of that scene from Rome when Brutus get btfo by that desert lord "I understand there was a great many who stabbed your Caesar, seems a bit cowardly no?"
German history is basically
>start shit
>get absolutely BTFO when the other guy (whoever they are) retaliates
>survive solely because it was in someone else's interest
This might be the earliest example.
>Arminius pulls this absolutely craven bullshit
>Rome sends Germanicus
>Germanicus absolutely assrapes the germs, kills hundreds of thousands, completely destroys many tribes and beats Arminius in several pitched battles
>the sole reason he doesn't completely conquer Germania and save Europe from 2000 years of war is Tiberius feeling threatened by his successes and calling him back
>Germs lick their wounds, breed like roaches and eventually pick up the pieces when Rome self-destructs
You'll notice the viking larper types (the shows target audience) either don't know or avoid talking about the Roman punitive expeditions such as Germanicus' in Germania or Trajan's in Dacia which absolutely destroys their fantasies. The amount of c**ts who think Boudicaa was some Wonder Woman style warrior instead of a commander who got her shit pushed in when confronting an actual army and not old men and women is a prime example.
I think a lot of it has to do with that series of documentaries about Barbarians that was made by the History Channel. It was straight up creaming itself over every Barbarian Warlord that ever had defeated Rome, presenting them as freedom fighters (sic) and the latter as a literal Empire of Evil. It was so biased in that aspect it wasn't even funny
But Rome was an evil empire that invaded, conquered, and enslaved people. How is this even a point of debate?
Literally every culture at the time did that, the difference is in Rome the enslaved people had rights and a chance to advance in standing even to the highest offices, while getting captured by the germs meant either getting worked to death or being a sacrifice. The moronic noble savage myth is the reason for so many barbarboos, literally read some actual history, the level of cruelty that was common in those ''cultures'' was staggering, Romans were saints by comparison.
The Germans did the same thing except they didn't have the decency to build lasting infrastructure and gradually incorporate the conquered into their culture.
It's the same with Atilla, it's basically common knowledge that he was the ''Scourge of Rome'' and that he kicked their ass, and then when you actually look into it you find out based Aetius BTFO'd him so hard he was considering suicide mid battle, lmao. There is definitely an anti-Roman bias in mainstream history media.
Cause Rome is analogous to the modern day US and so bitter Europoors wank to the few times a drooling moron botched Rome’s overwise pristine military reputation.
Meds
I think you're reading too much into it. Roman losses tend to stand out a lot since they were rare.
they lost constantly post-republic
>they lost constantly post-republic
Post the Republic's borders at its height vs the Empire's.
>be KHV legionnaire patrolling the limes germanicus
>*blocks you're path*
>"like what you see latin boy?"
what's the correct move here
Throw pilum, sound alarm, Ave Roma.
Do what the officer leading the patrol says or if it is a small patrol I am leading follow the standing orders given because I am not a impulsive barbarian. Though I would tell her to drop the knife regardless.
absolutely disciplined pill
Why were the Latins able to weaponize their autism?
the sweet promise of raping and enslaving barbarians females AND males
Damn. Contrast was really high back in those days.
It's called backlighting pleb
you sure they didnt just hire a bunch of Black folk?
Romans bought african slaves, yes
two quick stabs to the belly and thigh before she can reproduce more g*rms.
>Causing an incident that could lead to border raids, revolt, the harassment of merchants and tax collectors
You aren’t getting a cup for cutting down a random barbarian girl. Detain her and let the higher ups figure it out.
did he get cucked? i thought he got the hot german girl in the end. its been a while since i watched it
She's pregnant with the OC's child.
The son is his you know that right
Historically yes, in the series magic powers are real and the old witch told her whose child it is.
>arminius prevents his people getting further annexed by romangays
>they kill him
>germanicus could've managed to annex germania
>wasnt allowed and then dies poisoned in antioch
what did history mean by this
