the girlfriend works a job because she is career minded. we arent sure if we will have kids soon, but we want to eventually. she talks about getting married, but that involves planning. many people live together for a long time before marriage, thats what i want to do. i do get govt assistance because among my hustles are getting grants from the government to develop my land in certain ways, like building a pond, or planting hay or trees, removing invasive species, providing habitat refuges, etc. i get "carbon tax credits" also so basically i never pay taxes, they give me a large refund annually.

when its not winter i have a vegetable and fruit garden. i sell the produce at the farmers market in town, and sometimes in the next towns over. i make things too. i actually know how to make my own soap from ash water and tallow or lard. i mix in flowers or mint leaves, and i sell this at my stand in the market too. working the garden can be hard work, so I need to mechanize more.
Part of my land seems to have been some sort of scrap heap dump left by the previous owner, so sometimes I salvage scrap metal from this giant pile of machines left in the woods. there are several garbage heaps on this property, and I haven't even scavenged through them all.
I have grown cannabis before. I sell it to my friends who distribute it across the state. I don't do it anymore because cannabis is legal here now.
