My favorite Matt and Trey story is that they went to go speak business with Lloyd Kauffman one time and he was so fricking cheap that they offered him some fast food and suddenly he was sucking their dicks and singing their praises.

I never heard that, just that he set up a meeting with trey at del taco and made trey pay for it

I like how when they first started, Jerry Seinfeld thought the show was funny and wanted a cameo so Trey offered him the role of "Turkey Number 4" which meant he wouldn't have a prominent speaking role and that he would be coming to the studio just to make turkey sounds into a microphone. Jerry's agent called back and called them buttholes.

I also like how when they were maing Team America, they thought the audience wouldn't recognize the Matt Damon doll and thought he looked moronic so they made him sound moronic. Damon was confused and bewildered by it and both Matt and Trey said they both kinda regrettd it because to them, Damon turned out to be a pretty cool guy.

it confuses me, because I've also heard
        >these stars want to voice themselves, wanting to be part of the joke
meaning frick off guys, they're making fun of you, the guest voices they have are people they admire. the chick from species, jennifer aniston. so all from season 2 or 3.

I liked how George Clooney voiced the gayest dog in the world by doing what Jerry didn't do and showed up and made woofs and barks and still got a credit.

Also the Chef Aid episode where they get Elton John, Meatloaf, Rick James, Ozzie, Ike Turner, Flea, Joe Strummer, etc. Fricking insane episode and they even released an album of all the songs they recorded

Clooney got them their start by spreading the "spirit of christmas" short they made around Hollywood, that ended up getting them the attention of Comedy Central.

They signed a 935mil deal last year. It's a very good deal in terms of revenue split 50/50. Mormon musical has made so far 500mil etc. They will become billionaires off this. They not far off already in terms of wealth.

        Anonymous

935million is not even one billion.
The revenue from the mormon musical is irrelevant as it does not concern the "publishing rights to a cable show" which is what you claimed they make billions from.

I can’t stand Tim gaydicker on a personal level. Look at his dumb frick face. Have you seen his video comment sections? It’s like these people are living in a completely different reality. Who finds this guy funny? On Film is obnoxious.

The parody documentary they did about the making of South Park includes a bit where they say they'll just ride SP into the ground forever if it makes money. As well as it being a joke, I think they actually meant it.

You probably use words in your day-to-day life that these guys brought into the lexicon. This whole site makes South Park jokes regularly without even realizing it.

South Park is cheap and quick to produce so the ROI is enormous.
But the "billions" they got are development deal for Paramount+ they wont pocket everything, but they sure got set for 10 life times.
