It’s weird but I hear this most from eurotards. Someone was showing me this Swedish trans-woman who was arguing everyone in the world should get to vote in the US election because the US election “affected everyone.”

Obviously this leaves out the blind spot in their reasoning, that the US election affects you because you chose to surrender your sovereignty to the US in exchange for protection. If you choose to save the money you’d spend on a military by outsourcing your foreign policy, that’s a choice you made as a eurotard to become a satellite state.

Was this the movie where the entire planet was just L.A.? And there was a scene with a pimp for some reason, or was that just a fever dream I had?

brazil is the way it is because it permitted nazis to hide there, dumbass. Same reason Argentina and the USA both suck a massive dick and eat a lot of shit. Good job outing yourself as a commie

Oh no, no way it could be a mudslop hellhole because of all the mixed race Black mudpeople in it. No way Brazil could be exactly like an African country because of all the African DNA in Brazil. No it was that other reason which you can’t possibly explain.

Brazil is the way it is because they imported 5.5 million slaves over 300 years, that's 10x as many as America imported. Demographics is destiny.

So why didn't they mass produce those auto healing beds? Were they just intentionally being inefficient with shitty overrun hospitals staffed by regular MDs?

Wouldn't basic capitalism suggest that some company would make a knock off generic auto healing bed? The tech couldn't have been that secure.

ignoring the movie, you just described the supposed new world order. this is bad because it just makes everyone controlled by a single elite group no one likes that makes you dependent on them and gradually strips away your means of fighting against them.

Elysium is such a frustrating movie, because it could be absolutely brilliant if it wasn't moronic. So many aspects of the future it depicts are horrifyingly uncomfortably potentially true. But then you remember the fricking plot.

Remember how on Elysium, they just had an entire armada if space ships capable of healing everyone on the planet, just sitting in a hanger, and they don't do anything with them? Not even use that technology and sell it at an exorbitant price. just sitting on it, like cartoon villains.

Seriously, the entire movie's plot falls apart if there's a single healing pod on Earth, because if there was, then there'd be no reason for the MC to go to Elysium. It would be an entirely different movie.

Seriously, I wish I could talk to more people about this movie, because all the visuals are there. All the themes are there. It's the writing that's fricking moronic. The point A to B script falls right apart if you think about it at all. I would absolutely love a movie in this world with an actually well thought out story.

I thought the premise was AI and robots had reached such a point as to solve all human wants and needs, but elites chose to keep it lobotomized just to keep the otherwise obsolete world order as it always was.

I mean the robots could clearly build more robots making the protagonists human labour unnecessary
