I'll admit the trailer had me hyped. But the movie was so bad.
Jon Kent telling his son not to save innocent children because the parasites would come for him (thanks Ayn Rand!).
Clark Kent being a aimless loser who gets bullied by rednecks and takes it out on their trucks like a gay.
Lois Lane figuring out who superman is in the 2nd act like its not the core part of the two character's interactions.
Superman not caring about saving lives and literally throwing the other aliens into anything that might explode.
That fricking ending. "Oh no I killed a Zod a bloo bloo bloo."
"I'll help but I want you to know I hate America" -Supes probably.
The cherry on top is following this up with BVS without establishing any sort of relationship between Batman and Superman.
Lets not forget Gal flatchest Gadot as genocide woman, bravely whitewashing zionist war crimes to the west.
>Jon Kent telling his son not to save innocent children because the parasites would come for him
I remember the "STHAP INVENCIBLE SON" memes from Cinemaphile back then.
Good times.
I didn't know anything about Superman before seeing Man of Steel so I decided to check out other versions afterwards. I watched Superman 1+2 and Superman Returns. Then I decided to watch Smallville and that was the best decision I've ever made. Best Lex, best Lois/Clark. So thanks Zack Snyder, I guess. The only thing I appreciate in MOS is showing that Clark is a Christian.
Can we cease with the homosexualy "oMg X cAmE oUt X yEaRs aGo" already?
I feel like I'm trapped in the circle of hell where I have to read screenrant articles all fricking day.
>pa kent makes a big deal about not to show powers in public >Clark chooses to destroy a truck right outside a crowded bar with cars passing by >inexplicably no one hears him
Way to shit on your own themes Snyder
MoS is a proof that Ayn Ryand fanboys do not understand superheroes, and can only creat some twisted versions of them. I'm glad that Snyder is not likely to touch any other superhero franchise ever again.
I think they understand them, they just hate the concept and want to tear it down.
It's funny, if the average person here lived in the MOS universe they would be rooting for Lex Luthor to kill Superman. Maybe that was Synder's intention.
>It's funny, if the average person here lived in the MOS universe they would be rooting for Lex Luthor to kill Superman.
Yup, especially after I saw him make you with Lois, while standing on the mass grave he just created with Zod. The frick dude, go check if someone is still alive, ffs.
Clark letting his dad die is still fricking moronic no matter what snydergays say. No one in his situation with powers would let her parent die just because they were told not to intervene. >b-b-but people would notice
So what? Clark was going to leave smallville soon anyway and no one is going to believe rumours about some superhuman without concrete proof. The whole thing was contrived, Snyder couldn't have a quiet moment, everything needed to be big and loud
and his baby hands are still as tiny as they ever were
You don't even lift ,fricking fatass b***h
At least they gripped something othe than his own dick.
Can't say the same for you.
Kek why does this jab always make Henry simps seethe?
The aesthetics of that movie is absolute SOVL
>inb4 muh color grading
go read a comic book
I did, unlike Zack Snyder.
it was shit then
and it's shit now
have a nice day snydercucks
All me, I'm trans btw.
T.Indian trash
Ah yes, The flop that started the downfall of WB/DC
and it's forgotten
And DC is still at square one
What if superman was an objectivist piece of shit that no one liked?
Are Cinemaphile manchildren still clinging to 2013 tumblr and reddit arguments that were debunked even before the movie came out?
One of the best capeshit movies ever, borderline kino
Man of Steel 6 would be the most anticipated movie of the summer if they had just used that kpop kid instead of Cavill.
Killed the dceu before it even got going
Best fricking superhero movie of all times
>Badass characters
>anime fricking badass fighting scenes
>Emotional soundtrack
>Epic trailers
Frick the critics !!!
I will find him > First Fly
>still DC
Why did they waste so much time throwing each other into buildings when one of them could have broken the other one's limbs and immobilized him?
Unironically
Zod did nothing wrong
He did everything wrong, just go terraforming Mars or any other planet
He needed the codex
It was far more valuable than terraforming a shitty planet
...ok, why not terraform mars and then get the codex, after you settle down?
Why did Clark immediately fall in love with a woman 10 years older than him? Explain this, Snyder gays.
He got mommy pilled
His mother was alive and well though. Clark had daddy issues, not mommy issues. Really dishonest answer.
So the movie can happen.

This sums perfectly the entire DC franchine.

How do you go from Nolan's Dark Knight to Snyder's MoS/BVS in only a couple of years, what a massive quality drop.

Wait until james gunn fricks it up too and then they will bring snyder back
I would sooner believe that they would sell DC do Disney.
I doubt Gunn could do a worse version of Superman than MOS. He would have to be trying extremely hard.
I think they understand them, they just hate the concept and want to tear it down.

This is genuinely baffling to me. I remember seeing it at the kinoplex like it was yesterday.
Turns out, I was still in high school at the time, wtf.
