I'm 100% certain I could use whatever AI will exist in 5 years to iterate my favorite IPs and acceptably produce something that seems "novel," even if I have to help it along in a few places with some personalized curation. Idk what excuse modern writers have but AI is one year old today, so.

I could probably use chat gpt to write idk, a spiderman plotline that doesn't suck but for a one stop shop that will make animation it'll take probably 5ish years plus a consumer grade computer capable of rendering it out. Last I heard, the writer's guild played hardball and got studios to agree that improv is considered "writing". There's also AI stipulations in their proposed contracts - they're trying to shut that down too.
Jackson's never really sold anything. He's been involved with a shitload of successful projects but always as a co-star, never the lead. Travolta was the bigger name when Pulp Fiction came out, Mace Windu was a secondary character in Star Wars and the MCU was an ensemble project all the way. People like Jackson but he doesn't carry things by himself.
