    They're already doing it.
Krakoa is no more. The mutant diaspora should be spread across the Earth.
Some, like Cyclops, go back to the basic goal of protecting a world that both hates and fears them.
Others, like Kitty and Emma, look to continue the good works of the school, training the next generation.
Lastly others, like Wolverine, just need to exist in a containment book, because you know they'll move numbers no matter what. Hopefully the new writer won't completely ruin another classic character by jerking Logan off too hard.

i seriously wonder if the damage done to beast is irreparable without a reboot to before bendis, and i don't even know how they're going to deal with moira mactaggart

They walked back Cyclops = Mutant Hitler I'm sure they can walk back Beast = Mutant Mengele.

the didn't walk cyclops back at all, they just doubled down/ignored it and let him be the favorite, like he literally always has been

they also don't even know how to walk back beast because if they'd actually read the comics, beast was smart enough with his language that he never actually gave commands, he made suggestions and people got the message. other characters acted completely differently with beast because with him around generally everyone respected each other and brainstormed as equals

They came out of Secret Wars with Cyclops as the big bad mutant Hitler who met an ignoble end.
After a few years of everyone hating on it they finally threw Emma under the bus. How was that not walking it back?

              >threw emma under the bus
they made her a main character on the council, and then when krakoa is falling, nightcrawler gives cyclops a hug as if he can do no wrong, and there was never a time before nightcrawler died that called in to question the activities of x-force. rightclops and magneto lead directly to krakoa and writers are incapable of depicting either revolutionary or political problems because they are liberals and have no background in studying revolutionary movements in history. the idpol liberals fell squarely in to a fascist ethnostate specifically because of rightclops in the late 2000s and zero self awareness, certainly on the part of bendis for shitting on beast, the most desegregationist x-man in the beginning

              >met an ignoble end
when? you mean after he died of terrigen mists and the x-men trying to start a race war? and then came back to life with no consequences?

scuse me, *as if* there was never a time before nightcrawler died that called in to question x-force (which he did)

What, pray tell, did he need to suffer consequences for?

writers need rightclops to constantly put the x-men in a mindset to start race wars and do fascist ethnostates

this is at least the 2nd time he's turned in to a martyr figure, and medusa was the one that stopped the terrigen mists if i recall, not the x-men

Emma has Alchemy destroy the first one. Medusa uses a machine to destroy the second. Cyclops was literally dead for all of this.

yup, and his "message" and idioms, if it wasn't obvious in uncanny 600, set the stage for his death to signify the x-men doing ethnostate shit after he had turned down captain america in the savage land for mutants to integrate

cyclops gets to be hero constantly, he gets to be martyr, he has zero consequences because he just has others do dirty work just like the council did while giving plot armor. writers didn't kill cyclops for him to be punished, it was so he can come back and be resurrected. it's just plot armor the whole time

      >They're already doing it.
No they aren’t. You have two woke as frick writers in Simone and Eve Ewing and a status quo wholly built on and referencing the krakoa era.

It’s dead on arrival specifically because it isn’t wiping the slate clean.

      >b-b-but the first few issues will sell 80-100K
Cool. And by issue 6 each of the three launch titles will be below 60

    reboot to before bendis

if i can't get marvel to let me write a beast/punisher team up where beast actually tackles with the notion of righteous killing and punisher actually deals with nuances of letting people redeem themselves and criminals rehabilitating, i would do a very large scope reassessment of all marvel characters

quarantine wolverine, quarantine cyclops, jean grey and emma frost as well

pic related, and to add to that i would make sure that A.I. and cyborgs get their own arcs, as well as the allies that makes sense to work with them. Example: Forge, Deathlok, Danger, Douglock (and ROM if it weren't for his being sold to IDW and i guess swept away in the dustbin of Cinemaphile history) would have missions or goals for A.I. and organics to leave in peace, or head the A.I. wing of a galactic hospital, with repair shops and mechanical healthcare

mutants that have any relation with magic or other dimensions, like Magik, Nightcrawler, Scarlet Witch would be featured with Wong, the ghost of Druid and Dr strange

P.S. since juggernaut is powered by cyttorak, i would lump him in with magical characters too

He's hardly swept away, Marvel is finally printing the omnibuses this year. Volume 1 has already been out for a few months.
It's a great time for the world's one ROM fan.

oh i didn't know that. thanks for the info. i didn't think marvel would try to print something while another comic company has whatever license

    >can’t retcon
Easy, I have Jean grey destroy the universe, Franklin Richards remake a new one and make it how I like it. And every few months or years or so Franklin mentions to galactus or the watcher or someone how shitty the last universe was and good thing they made a new one. Nothing was retconned, we all continue forging forward and I make comics that sell boatloads.

I wouldn’t even demand to renumber a single series though I wouldn’t fight it.

Krakoa did not even do anything wrong enough to warrant being erased from the history. Just settle on something that can be the entire X-brand status quo for a few years and you're fine. Right now like one out of the three new teams are fugitives right? One team is doing public hero work while the other has to work from the shadows. homie's just hate boner's for the Krakoa comics and make this harder then it actually is.

No, frick that. I'll reboot the entire Marvel U.
    >Spider-Man
    >X-Men
    >Avengers
    >Guardians of the Galaxy
    That's the first wave.

And this time, have it actually feel like a shared universe. No redundancies. No 52 titles like the New 52. It's always best to start small and go from there.

Because there's no reason to keep the original continuity going other than to appease the nerds who still care about this shit. Shit's been running since the 60s. It's best to start fresh.

I guess the Sentinels are the heroes now and the story is about exterminating the mutants so they can't ever hurt or threaten anyone ever again.
