Young people think the MCU is for 40-year-old manchildren and wine aunts, they "asked for this" by not watching the films. So disney wants to make something just for them.
>OG Avengers
They're mostly gone >Spider-Man
Belongs to Sony >They don’t give a rat’s ass about the new guys
Yeah, that's the problem. Kids think the new shit is boomllennial cringe. This is their attempt to fix that.
Regardless of anything else wrong with Marvel and Disney, this is such a dumb concept for a live action movie. >Relying on kid actors to carry a movie is beyond stupid >Youth superhero teams only appeal to very young children at the best of times >Completely fricked if reshoots are needed, the actors will very noticeably age and outgrow costumes >At most you can get one sequel before all the actors are adults and the entire concept falls apart
The funny thing is Steinfeld is already older than ScarJo was in Iron Man 2 and will probably be older than Hemsworth and Evans were in their first movies by the time this starts actually filming - it's just young actors today have eternal babyfaces.
i read the plot summary for Black Panther 2 today, cause frick off im never watching that, but i was curious what they did with the main actor dying >the Black Panther is dying... Shilol, aka the ugliest negress to grace the planet earth, you must find the magical herb.. >Shilol, aka the ugliest negress to grace the planet earth you were too late... >"eh the "black panther" is such a outdated concept anyway, freaking patriarchy lol" >2 hours of girlboss and water people >"i Shilol, the ugliest negress to grace the planet earth am now the Black Panther" >credits >clap now
holy lmao this has the be the worst marvel movie of them all
yeah i dont know what the issue is
they even did it in the MCU at the start with the Black that plays War Machine
just changed his actor between movies, made a quick joke about it and moved on, it was completely fine
Tobey was almost replaced with Jake Gyllenhaal for Spider-Man 2 after hurting his back. He was able to stick around when he recovered in time for filming.
It's weird innit? People keep saying how movie stars are dead nowadays and established characters are more important, didn't seem to be the case here with how scared to death these studios are with replacing actors on a whim.
With the way the MCU's scheduling/planning has been the past several years, I am looking forward to seeing a bunch of 30 year olds pretending to be kids in a predictable movie that will have zero ramifications for the series at large and will ultimately be dropped as a concept, but not before it introduces three new characters in the after credits that are foreshadowed to be important but never show up again.
>went to a friends house >met his kids >oldest kid is in his first year of middle school >they ask me about Fortnite >yeah that game with Thanos in it >confused look >who’s thanos?
Kids don’t even know what avengers are. Pretty soon it’s just going to be neckbeard millennials that have seen those movies. Kids will find it a chore to sit through them even for the cultural capital.
>d.
zerty lookin mf on the right
Nah, it's the middle-right one who gets his back blown out by a jolly green giant.
:O

The frick are you talking about? Kids and teens like the OG Avengers and Spider-Man. They don’t give a rat’s ass about the new guys.

Kids prefer adult heroes or teens who seem like adults. Execs need to finally fricking get this.
No one. That's why capeshit is dead and Marvel keeps losing money.
Larry Fink
Blackrock and their ESG ratings.
In keeping with the season, it's appropriate to say
>Marvel was dead: to begin with.
>There is no doubt whatever about that.
Lmao does Iger get visited by the ghost of movies past next?
The ghosts of masculinity past, present and future
They will have to pay people to get them to watch this
>not a single interesting character
Impressive.
This has bomb written all over it, probably best to release this on Disney+ and keep viewership hidden
You guys have been saying this for almost a decade only for them to drop another billy on heads and laugh

They ARE adults. They're all in their 20s except Wanda's kids, but they would be reincarnated and aged up and gayed up as per the comics.
Kathrynkino is the best kino
500% flop

Why are all studios so opposed to just recasting these days? They threw a free billon dollars into the garbage by sinking Black Panther
yeah i dont know what the issue is

>Tobey was almost replaced with Jake Gyllenhaal
Massive disaster averted
or voice actors, look at the modern simpsons, they sound old and tired, it's kinda depressing.
That's probably a good thing though. The cast dying out is probably the only way the show will ever end.
It's weird innit? People keep saying how movie stars are dead nowadays and established characters are more important, didn't seem to be the case here with how scared to death these studios are with replacing actors on a whim.
>Only one black person
Has Marvel gone KKK?
I do not recognize any of these characters.
You just know the audience for this is going to be 30+ year old manchildren too. There won't be a kid in sight.
Manchild here. I'm thoroughly disinterested in this slop.
You're right, I probably should have said sois, they are the only ones keep these movies alive.
>Callbacks and references: the movie

Wine aunts, groomers, and cucks.
Movie fans. Chuds need not apply
