They brought him back made him evil, fricked around a bit with Kaine, then the next multiverse spider event made him good, then they made him irrelevant until they needed him evil again. Now he's literally in Limbo
Because Slott wanted an edgy twist for his shitty story about clones and who else but Ben to bring back to make it happen. Naturally even the editors with half a braincell said no until Lowe came along.
Now he's back and you can't exactly just kill him off again without pissing everyone off even more
I'd drop the Chasm name but keep the suit
He and Janine should stay split up for a little while longer though, really cement her status as her own character

Have him become Scarlet spiderman(or keep the chasm powers but change the the name) but keep Janine as hallow Eve so they can have spider eve babies. Also have Kaine reconnect try to reconnect with Annabelle if possible.
