Raimi was held back by a script he didn't really have control over. I bet good money that marvel would sacrifice a ton of creative control if it meant appeasing Raimi

Marvel would never do that. Not nowadays after their relationships with Ed Norton and Edgar Wright fell apart over creative differences.

He was also held back by the content factory that the MCU has become and by Feige buying into his 'can-do-no-wrong' PR nonsense.

      >a decent Marvel movie
We aren't getting any decent MCU movies ever again. If the characters people were invested in aren't enough to drive interest, the IP By Committee process will and has pushed their interest along. The Marvels didn't bomb because it was woke or too female driven, it bombed because people aren't invested in Carol or any of the rest (just like they were invested in Eternals or the most recent Antman) because the Avengers are essentially done with.

The MCU won't have the kind of success they had in the past (outside another Tom Holland movie, which will likely be even more far removed from the MCU than the last one was) until they manage to kick start a new character into appeal. Black Panther did well, but with that actor's death, and the fact that no one really made a Tony Stark/Steve Rogers/Thor/Loki type impression with the audience after the sequel, it's unlikely they can manage to have success with a third movie, or trying to build a team-up movie around Wakanda.

I could see one decent movie coming out near the death of the MCU just from all the producers no longer giving a shit so the writers and director can actually do their job. Still only decent because it'd still be a cgi shitheap with no real backgrounds.

Why not let the Russo Bros do Kang?

They're tired of doing superhero movies.

They also have enough money to frick off forever. They don't need Marvel.

Too many products in a short span. I'm too far behind on Marvel now. Too much to ever catch up. Not going to even try to catch up. Not going to try. I'm free.

Kang Dynasty is dead, dude. They're abandoning instead of recasting.
Abandoning is what they should be doing for everything, btw.

Regardless of if it's titled Kang Dynasty or not, an Avengers movie is still coming out before Secret Wars

If they give him creative control it would be nice, but with modern Marvel it's more likely they are doing the same thing as in MoM.

They aren't. That's just coping the Rick and Morty writer came up with instead of admitting he was fired for doing a shitty job in Quantumania.

He had creative control for MoM.

What if he just straight up made Spider-Man 4? Market it as Avengers 5, tell Disney to suck his dick and ship it, but when the movie starts, it's Tobey vs Bruce Campbell's Mysterio for roughly 2 hours. Maybe a stinger where Kang hoots and hollers while eating some Popeyes and drinking some grape soda, to tie into avengers 6.

      Bushy

This, but OP is still right. Strange 2 was already so non-Disney, it doesn't fit... then again, everything Disney makes is shit right now, so maybe a difference could be good.

It was garbage that coasted entirely on the goodwill from No Way Home

What if I tell you that No Way Home was overrated and shitty Sony wank full of cringe, even worse jokes and story nonsense? The few seconds we saw of Venom were terrible, just like the movies. The whole "Mysterio killed Spiderman's reputation" thing was completely idiotic. Also, was it No Way Home or Thor 4 where stores and cafés named after events from Endgame? Half of the literal universe died and started to market shit in-universe with the snap or the gauntlet.
Sony is on their way to completely frick up the franchise.
