Makes sense
This ain't black Spider-man nigga.
You have to be 10+ years deep committed to this shit if you are going to watch The Marvels on opening night man.
Shit half the audience were probably youtubers
Zoomers don't watch movies
Zoomers don't watch shows
Zoomers don't read books
Zoomers don't listen to music except as some kind of dull background music
This was NEVER news.
Zoomers were NEVER the audience for these fucking movies. Capeshit was always always always a fucking millenial obsession that evolved from the "90s kids" obsession
The fact that zoomers universally had to grow up with these films because their parents forced them to, and they grew up and decided to never see these shit films since they gained autonomy, proves that zoomers are way more based than millenial soeys
Why do zoomers make up their own weird mythology about all kinds of shit. Now they pretend that millennials didn't invent soi memes to make fun of other millennials, in their twisted HRT addled minds they invented it to dab on millennials.
As a younger millenial, I haven't felt like the MCU was for me in a while. It mostly feels like they're trying to convince you that your older brother is still cool.
I can't think of anyone in those movies close to my age.
Marvel has always been for young boys/teenagers. The second they shifted their demographic priorities they shot themselves in the foot. Now it's an uphill battle to regain that younger male audience.
Why do millennials seem to dislike every other generation? They seem to despise the Greatest Generation, Silent Generation, Boomers, Gen Xers, Zoomers, and Alphas.
Milennials arrived at the perfect time to fully see the problems of all gens basically. We (I'm a younger millennial, 28 rn) arrived just as it became clear the American Empire was in decline. This is symbolized by us being the youngest generation to remember the WTC attacks on 9/11, which I agree with the sentiment that this is a good benchmark to sort you into gen z vs millennial. If you were 4 or older when the towers collapsed, you're millennial.
But yeah basically we were born in time to get a brief glimpse of the old America where there was still hope for the future (90s was a very hopeful gen, with a cynical reaction to this layered on top. In the same way, millenials are very cynical with a dumb, childlike optimism layered on top) and we saw it turn to shit, which then made the problems of old America that led to this clear. Why do you think our gen is so anti-imperialist? Its because we saw how us fucking around in desert countries led to 9/11. We saw the neocons then proceed to take Osama's bait and fuck things up even more. We saw the 2008 crash, etc.
So we simultaneously can clearly see how the old gens fucked it all up while the younger gens are the results of their fuck ups so we see their flaws clear as day too. We're like this perfect island in between two oceans and we have a cynical yet crystal clear viewpoint of everyone's fuckups. We're also aware that we suck but we blame the older gens for it.
Every milennial deep down knows its over, and has known for a while. Many of us drown ourselves into Marvelslop and other forms of childlike escapism to avoid this painful reality, but its because we're aware of it that we're driven to behaviors like this. The younger gens never got to see even a glimpse of what was lost. Their ignorance is itself annoying, adding to the dislike.
I'm 31, and I agree with a lot of what you said, but I do feel like there's a major difference between those of who were kids when 9/11 happened and millenials that were already well into adulthood.
Yeah there is, even younger milennial is a lot different than older milennial. We've already taken on some zoomer traits. Its just not nearly as drastic as those born after 9/11.
what was it like it, boomer?
I was like 5 when 9/11 happened but through cultural osmosis as well as a couple memories I remember that before that it was genuinely a happier, more carefree time. Everyone was optimistic, this manifested in a lot of ways, like one very clear example is how everyone thought in 20/30 years we'd have some futuristic utopia. The perception was "sure there are setbacks but overall we're heading in the right direction". Liberals weren't yet crazy and alt right didn't exist, there was generally more faith in everything until 9/11 and the Bush years.
Like for example I remember my parents telling me as a kid I could be anything I wanted, I could be the President if I wanted etc. It was a common sentiment said to many kids and fully believed. America was believed in, institutions were trusted, the future was definitely better than the past and therefore the younger gen was lucky. Now all that is flipped completely on its head, and it all started with 9/11.
>and it all started with 9/11.
Nah. As an adult when it happened, 9/11 created the giant pool of gasoline, but the Iraq War was the lit match. That's what really blew apart American political culture and how we got to where we are today.
Not to say the aftermath of 9/11 was sunshine and roses. It really gets glossed over in popular memory, with all the "Muh 9/12 patriotism" nostalgia, but America went fucking insane for about 2+ years. Nothing like it sense. At least Trump driving people nuts split things 50/50. After 9/11, everyone went nuts in lockstep.
I think also people forgot that not every millennial had a good 90's experience. My family didn't have the money to do the things people are now nostalgic for.
>She wears skin showing clothes
Doesn't matter since she's an ugly scarecrow. Remember when we saw Wonder Woman look sexy with an ass for 5 seconds in the beginning of Justice League and it turned out to be her stunt double?
Zoomers have short attention spans and moved on already after Endgame like most normalfags. Most zoomers are broke teenagers and college students who can't afford to pay an arm and a leg to watch capeslop anyway. They'd rather just stay at home and wait for it to eventually go to Disney+. The only people paying attention to the MCU now are the diehards who have seen everything in the cinema starting with Iron Man.
it's literally going to make less than the first iron man
despite inflation
it might make less than 200m (first iron man made 585) which is like 100m in 2008
I mean I could agree with that now but at it's peak a lot of zoomers grew up with it, at my high school lots of people watched Endgame and were making a big deal about saying the spoilers and stuff
This thread is full of coping zoomers. The MCU is 100% zoomer territory. It's literally their version of Star Wars. Millennials had the real shit (Raimi Spider-Man, The Dark Knight, X-Men)
Considered the BIGGEST fucking flop in the history of capeshit cinema...Considering The Marvels had a budget of $275 Mil, it's gonna take that crown of shit and wear it proudly.
They've done a great job at making Marvel as lame as possible.
>70% of watchers over 25
WHAT THE FUCK
Going to save this and post whenevr an oldfag tries to shit on zoomers
barely anyone went to see it. it's just a small sample of complete retards
Reminder those are the diehard marvelfans
This isn’t anything new. Marvel fans were always millennial manchildren
Retards here would have told you otherwise
Millenials are tapping out too. We moved on to anime and manga
>70% of capeshitters are millenials
>70% of zoomers are brown
It's over for this country
>white nerd are the ones slurping capeshit
maybe white people need to be genocided actually
We're doing so ourselves right now. And then the sub 90 iq browns will inherit the earth. Humanity is finished.
whenver my wife's boyfriend takes her out, i get to stay home and watch kino with my furbabies

This was NEVER news.

They have completely failed at capturing the women demographic
been like that a while which is funny people always say marvel is for kids even though kids don't watch it at all
>people always say marvel is for kids
People say it is childISH, as in you have to be a pathetic homosexual to watch it.
It's something ostensibly for kids, but they fill it with dick jokes and other stuff that pushes the PG-13 rating. It's peak manchild cinema.
>now
it always was you fucking retard
zoomers don't care about mcu. never did.
Not true. Every zoomer watched endgame.
t. zoomer
wrong
t.zoomer
As a younger millenial, I haven't felt like the MCU was for me in a while. It mostly feels like they're trying to convince you that your older brother is still cool.
I can't think of anyone in those movies close to my age.
>millennials have arrested development
In other news the sky is blue
>millenial franchise
the cringe ironic self referntial humor is peak millennial
Marvel has always been for young boys/teenagers. The second they shifted their demographic priorities they shot themselves in the foot. Now it's an uphill battle to regain that younger male audience.
it's been 20 years. they replaced the actors with younger ones to appeal to zoomers and added in females to get women
video games are the ultimate NPC "hobby"
>says the homosexual going to marvel and star wars movies
As a millennial myself, millennials are lamer boomers, with a pathetic whining attitude about everything
I went back to university and find I like the non troop zoomers more than I ever did our own kind
>troop
Troon
Why do millennials seem to dislike every other generation? They seem to despise the Greatest Generation, Silent Generation, Boomers, Gen Xers, Zoomers, and Alphas.
Gen X and Boomers blame us for their problems are zoomers like to think those guys are their friends for some reason.
Milennials arrived at the perfect time to fully see the problems of all gens basically. We (I'm a younger millennial, 28 rn) arrived just as it became clear the American Empire was in decline.
