Sony keeps fricking around and shit has to change. No Way Home was originally a movie with Kraven in the MCU. Sony decides no we want to make a Kraven movie and Spider-verse was their first major Spider-man success in 20 years they believed Multiverse is what made it successful and pushed Disney to include it.
I'm up for a Spidey/DD team-up, but in that dynamic Peter is the comedic part - Ant-Man is superfluous.
