and the main character doesn't like sports. Amazing stuff here.
I guess they wanted the character to be relatable for limp wristed beta males who make "sports ball" jokes.
Yeah, in Muslim areas because they were based when it came to israelites. Muslims aren't the reason there are Muslims in Europe, Germany was fighting the reason there are Muslims in Europe.

Read Himmler's description of Islam, his praise and gushing is borderline homosexual.
Not that shocking though, because anyone who knows a bit about history also knows that the Nazi party was full of gays. Hitler had no problem with Ernst Röhm and his homosexualry up until he decided to consolidate power.

>Is Angela Merkel israeli?
She's an East German commie. israelites created Bolshevism which toppled Russia and turned it into a communist state.
The Germans were fighting the israelites and the commies. They were very explicit about this.
The US still has fricking military bases in Germany. Who do you think is calling the shots?
Was it the Germans who opened the gates at Toledo? Are you some dumb, delusional britbong or what?

1. Taking their stolen land back.
2. Getting rid of israelites.
3. Kicking commie ass.
Those are all good things. The problem is that Britain had to stick its nose where it didn't belong and now we're all suffering for it. Except for israelites of course.
I fricking hate that actor on the right. He is so shit at acting and I cant stand his ugly face. He definitely got an acting career from nepotism. Frick that guy.
He's been at it for over ten years and obviously wasn't an amateur by 2017 when he blew up. Why would it matter if someone gets a career start from nepotism? All that matters is that someone can maintain a career without it, which he clearly can.
the entire point of the show is to show hot the bombing evolved over the war and tactics changed, they go unescorted because there's no fighters that can escort them on their missions, then later in the war better fighters are produced (namely p-51) that can escort them to and back from the target and the Luftwaffe eventually gets decimated to the point that they can raid them pretty much with impunity.
This entire episode was about a disastrous raid that cost them 60 bombers and 500 or something casualties in a single mission, there were many other disastrous bombing raids in the early-mid part of the war such as operation tidal wave which was not B-17s but B-24 Liberators.
This is the raid depicted in the episode
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schweinfurt%E2%80%93Regensburg_mission
They also raided the same factory again with the same results and lost even more bombers and men. They depicted the factory getting destroyed in the episode but while it was damaged it didn't disrupt their production severely.
They should have done a series about a Soviet tactical or US Navy squadron. This shit is boring. This ep was basically identical to the last ep except more bombers got shot down and more characters you don't recognise died.
By the end of this ep, whose left? The two gay leads who eyefrick each other every scene they're in, and the dude doing a shit Brad Pitt impersonation.
That was more to do with how moronic the Germans were starting the war while their economy was still so civilian focused, that they had immense wasted capacity they could convert.
For years I have vehemently defended The Pacific on this board. I just couldn't fathom why people didn't like it, why people didn't "get it". Then I realized it's because I had read all the books the series was based on place several more about the pacific theater in general. Knowing so much about the series made it much more enjoyable, being able to see what's going on around the characters and knowing what is happening in the background of the show and being able to pick out details that someone without that knowledge would otherwise miss.
I see the same thing happening with this show. The people who seem to be enjoying it the most are the people that have some knowledge about of the events the show is based on.
>he people who seem to be enjoying it the most are the people that have some knowledge about of the events the show is based on.
The same reason I can't enjoy it. It's just military propaganda from the establishment to get white men to enlist. All those misguided fools fought for the wrong side. And at the end of the war they firebombed German civilians and dropped a nuke on Japan killing 200 thousand civilians. All for what? So their great great great grandchildren can become hated minorities.
>Implying the Soviet invasion of Japan wouldn't have just been the Berlin rape murder fest on a country-wide scale, with far more deaths, especially given how mad the Ruskies were about the Japs BTFOing their Navy at the start of the century.
>they go unescorted because there's no fighters that can escort them on their missions, then later in the war better fighters are produced (namely p-51
And this is blatantly false, >ra ra ra, History Channel: P-51 is the best, ra ra ra nonsense
It's all so tiresome. Not only were allied bombers getting escorted by P-47s, P-38s and Spitfires, the P-47 itself was responsible for the majority of the Luftwaffes losses in the western front. With the later drop tanks that started being produced, 38s and 47s had almost the exact same range as the P-51.
>Thunderbolt pilots were forbidden from mock dogfighting Spitfires below 10k feet because they kept going into uncontrollable spins trying to follow them in turns >they also freaked out when Spitfires could catch them in full power dives
Just the same way every media product about the Battle of Britain tongues the spitfire’s taint despite the Hurricane contributing far more to the defence.
>They depicted the factory getting destroyed in the episode but while it was damaged it didn't disrupt their production severely.
Why are Amerifats still producing WW2 propaganda?
lol is that the on were a guy got stuck in a turret so he drew cartoon wheels on paper and they appeared IRL? Or did I have a fever dream when I was a kid.
If this is just a propaganda film to get muh white men to enlist, why have dedicated Tuskegee airmen episodes that will just make people go DING DING DING? Checkmate, /misc/tards.
He was doomed the second he said he'd stay. Caught lightning in a bottle with the first crash landing and thought he could do it again. But his character was a real guy who died on the mission, although not due to staying behind out of solidarity with his friend/co-pilot, there was an oxygen fire that prevented the flight deck from accessing the place where they bailed out.
P40 kino was advertised and I don't care if black people are flying them in the show. I made too many P-40 and P-51 models as a kid not to want to see more of them
So I only subscribed to AppleTV for this shit. Now that I have it, might as well make use of it. What else is good on here? >Severance >For All Mankind
Those are the only two shows that interested me, anything else?
Stopped watching this. Started wondering if I’ve just gotten old and nostalgic about old shows, put on Band of Brothers and there’s no comparison. The acting is on another level, the introductory episode just covering training and Sobel makes a fantastic drama out of the conflicting personalities, and Sobel’s ultimate failure to command. We get these little character vignettes from episode to episode with a different focus, letting you get to know and care about the quirks of a host of characters, making it mean something when they’re in danger, die, get promoted, change.
Maybe it’s just that the flyboy setting isn’t conducive to ongoing drama and tension. They have a few minutes of hell where lots of them die, isolated in each plane, unable to help anyone else. Then their ass is back on base.
Not in WW2. Sure the pilots / bombardier / navigator were officers, but all the other guys were enlisted and could all be 17-18 year old morons. Those things were deathtraps and they had awful survival rates even if they weren't in the shit as much.
How do they frame it so that bombing the cities of a defeated country without a functioning air force from eleven billion kilometers of altitude is epic and heroic?
I feel like that nose dive at 16-17 seconds was way too fast. I know planes can go to frick shit real fast, but I can't figure out what would have caused it to go to level flight to a negative 45 degree angle in a split second.
So how is it, bros? Is it historically accurate or is the show inexplicably filled with Black folk who for some reason are part of a segregated military?
The cgi visual quality and animation is trash, and the actual distance between the planes is unrealistically short, but the details of the planes themselves, the actors makeup and the way the shots curve as they get father away is pretty good.
I don't mean inbetween the bomber formations, i meant the fighters get to close to the bombers. They would try to shoot them down between 100 and 500 meters, and they would take bites of the planes outside the formations. Flying practically inside the bombers for any length of time was really rare.
(keep in mind that the gun cameras shown here have really narrow angles/i.e are zoomed in)
>interviews with salt and pepper veterans
How many bomber crew vets are even still around? Its 79 years since WW2 ended. The ones they interviewed for the Pacific in 2010 are all dead now
Imagine how kino it would have been to get at least one episode from the German perspective (maybe a night fighter squadron), but that would probably have gotten Spielberg uninvited from the next baby penis sucking convention.
a whole series about barfing, bars, and bicycles.... boring
and the main character doesn't like sports. Amazing stuff here.
I guess they wanted the character to be relatable for limp wristed beta males who make "sports ball" jokes.
>barfing, bars, and bicycles
the three Bs of bombing
you make it sound way more interesting than it is
not gonna watch sorry
thank you for this post, been waiting all week for ep3
Who had ball turret on their bingo sheet?
Best ep so far, 90% action.
did any of the cute white boys show their dick? otherwise I'm not interested
Is this the thread? I'll watch it in a bit and see if this thread is still here.
ok im going to watch it now
just got done with the episode. I'm sad now.
so what the frick? all the main characters except elvis and his friend are dead? what the frick even is this show. where are the heroics?
what heroics? it properly conveys how fricked you were in these bombers.
they said in the last episode they're fricking bus drivers. the heroics are having the balls to go up at all and not turn around, homosexual.
alright whatever. 1/3rd of the series in and there is definitely something missing from this show. I'm enjoying it but I have seen this all before.
Nothing heroic about firebombing civilians m8
>boo hoo my innocent GERM-ans
frick them and frick you
eternal kraut is always ruining europe, they couldn't start ww3 so they imported 1 million syrians to ruin the europe for them.
You are a very stupid anglo. Germany was fighting the reason there are millions of non-Europeans in Europe.
nice revisionist history krautchan, hitler and himmler loved muzzies
Yeah, in Muslim areas because they were based when it came to israelites. Muslims aren't the reason there are Muslims in Europe, Germany was fighting the reason there are Muslims in Europe.

>applel tv original
LOL. Lmao even. Not watching this slop. They have the most corporate sanitized content.
Severance is kino of the highest order
No it isnt
The shocking thing is how bad the CGI is. You'd think Apple could afford to pay for something that didn't look like it was made 10+ years ago
>No one will ever make a show about the antics of luftwaffe airmen
Denied kino because of their mad boss
>mad
Holy shit quads.
These motherfrickers CANNOT ACT FOR SHIT
I'm fricking sick and tired of seeing these homosexuals shoved into everything
the guy on the right died
shoulda bailed.
I fricking hate that actor on the right. He is so shit at acting and I cant stand his ugly face. He definitely got an acting career from nepotism. Frick that guy.
what the frick are you talking about? He played a moron to perfection in The Banshees of Inisherin.

Im so impressed that he can play himself.
He's been at it for over ten years and obviously wasn't an amateur by 2017 when he blew up. Why would it matter if someone gets a career start from nepotism? All that matters is that someone can maintain a career without it, which he clearly can.
He grew up in foster homes. What nepotism?
The character on the right already died so whatever
>shoved into everything
You need to be more selective fren, don't watch everything.
just landed in Africa, this show is undeniably kino
the entire point of the show is to show hot the bombing evolved over the war and tactics changed, they go unescorted because there's no fighters that can escort them on their missions, then later in the war better fighters are produced (namely p-51) that can escort them to and back from the target and the Luftwaffe eventually gets decimated to the point that they can raid them pretty much with impunity.

>the entire point of the show is to show hot the bombing evolved over the war and tactics changed,
I dont think that's the point of the show at all.
>Speer was such a organisational genius that german production actually INCREASED every year despite the mass bombing
Shouldve still been strung up at Nuremburg though.
They couldn’t go too far at Neuremberg since the allies were trying the Germans for crimes they themselves had commited.

MoTA is trash and is the least historically correct series of the 3 so far
very nice unbroken spines
kek, nice collection. I have that Great Battles of WW2 book as well.
you haven't read a single one of those books have you
>he people who seem to be enjoying it the most are the people that have some knowledge about of the events the show is based on.

LMAO

What wouldn't I give to see some p-38 kino
>They depicted the factory getting destroyed in the episode but while it was damaged it didn't disrupt their production severely.
Why are Amerifats still producing WW2 propaganda?
What the frick is going on with theses 35min worth of actual episode content if you throw out the intro and end credits
I'm hoping some of the later episodes run over an hour.
The Tuskegee Black person episode will be four hours long.
episodes 6 and 7 are directed by a fat negress so I'm assuming those are going to be the nog episodes
I'll be skipping both of them.
correction, episodes 7 and 8. here she is
why would I watch a show starring the ugliest girl from the Shannara Chronicles
>why would I watch a show starring the ugliest girl from the Shannara Chronicles
Did it get interesting?
It was more of the same.
Just watch Kino instead of that slop.
lol is that the on were a guy got stuck in a turret so he drew cartoon wheels on paper and they appeared IRL? Or did I have a fever dream when I was a kid.
That was the episode The Mission in the show Amazing Stories.
oh cool, thanks for the trivia, anon
If this is just a propaganda film to get muh white men to enlist, why have dedicated Tuskegee airmen episodes that will just make people go DING DING DING? Checkmate, /misc/tards.
CGI is quite poor at times, shame
Irish moron from Banshees of Inisherin trying to pull off a crash landing and nosediving bummed me out. I thought they were going to make it
He was doomed the second he said he'd stay. Caught lightning in a bottle with the first crash landing and thought he could do it again. But his character was a real guy who died on the mission, although not due to staying behind out of solidarity with his friend/co-pilot, there was an oxygen fire that prevented the flight deck from accessing the place where they bailed out.
This is a show about American airplanes in WW2 by the way
>I'll just crash the plane over there and we'll be fine
P40 kino was advertised and I don't care if black people are flying them in the show. I made too many P-40 and P-51 models as a kid not to want to see more of them
did you put a little plastic black man in the wiener pit?
No one ever put the shitty little people models in the wienerpit. Plane models were like $15 for a cool plane. It's not Warhammer.
The Red Tails singlehandedly defeated the Luftwaffe, cope harder chud
The Red Tails were always propaganda
Now that the main cast is in Africa the next episode will either be the red tails plot or the guy who is being forced to join the French resistance
I really didn't like the first two episodes but this one was good
So I only subscribed to AppleTV for this shit. Now that I have it, might as well make use of it. What else is good on here?
>Severance
>For All Mankind
Those are the only two shows that interested me, anything else?
You should have learned to get it for free, all these services suck now
Normies seem to love Ted Lasso for its feel-goodness. Never seen it myself.
>We are sending those boys into hell.
I got goosebumps when he said that bros.
I think this is beginning to be better than BoB. BoB started off strong then got boring. This didn't start out too strong but ep3 was kino.
Can't wait for ep4.
Stopped watching this. Started wondering if I’ve just gotten old and nostalgic about old shows, put on Band of Brothers and there’s no comparison. Airmen are all educated men who usually get to sleep in their own beds at night during wartime. They will never be as relatable as ground troops.
Not in WW2. Sure the pilots / bombardier / navigator were officers, but all the other guys were enlisted and could all be 17-18 year old morons. Those things were deathtraps and they had awful survival rates even if they weren't in the shit as much.
HOLY KINO that was a great episode.
Faith restored, looking forwards to next week.
I want to believe this show was a way for plane connoisseurs to get funding to make amazing scenes from woke producers.
Buck and Bucky survive and go to Africa. What episode is the breaking going to be in?
nice, since Toonstruck i've always liked video games with inserted live action
How do they frame it so that bombing the cities of a defeated country without a functioning air force from eleven billion kilometers of altitude is epic and heroic?
You set it in 1943 when the krauts still have plenty of fight in them
IIRC those rockets were literally reconfigured artillery rockets, a hit that close would've obliterated the entire plane
the scene with the guy hitting the wing made me spit out my drink, webm that one plz
Its like the women hitting the propeller in Titanic but funny
did he died?
He hit the propellor and only got cut into two? Or he snapped when he hit the wing? Seems dumb tbh.
Shit like this is too ridiculous to add in. Even if it actually happened it can never be replicated with cgi.
he didn't fly so good
did he ded
he's fine
I feel like that nose dive at 16-17 seconds was way too fast. I know planes can go to frick shit real fast, but I can't figure out what would have caused it to go to level flight to a negative 45 degree angle in a split second.
way to frickin cramped

no nig tails yet, dunno about everything else
>"sir, that factory is gone"
aaaaaaand 2 weeks later it was up for production again.
Frick civilian-bombing allied homosexuals.
Cinemaphile is a Luftwaffe board
go back
Right on cue, JIDF
>Cinemaphile
Frick off
>The most heroic action performed by the main characters is the massacre of civilians.
Like master like golem
Will the real hero of the war be making an appearance in this?
He must be so proud of the paki rape gangs
Least no German new years eve is now complete without horny Turks and Afghan asylum seeker sex crimes
..who did more than anyone else to hurt the allied war effort
>Masters of Warcrimes
This CG is Comedy-tier.
haha oops
lmfao I hope they added a looney toons whistling sound while he was falling
wilhelm scream at a minimum
The cgi visual quality and animation is trash, and the actual distance between the planes is unrealistically short, but the details of the planes themselves, the actors makeup and the way the shots curve as they get father away is pretty good.
>and the actual distance between the planes is unrealistically short
No it isn't. What are you talking about?
I don't mean inbetween the bomber formations, i meant the fighters get to close to the bombers. They would try to shoot them down between 100 and 500 meters, and they would take bites of the planes outside the formations. Flying practically inside the bombers for any length of time was really rare.
(keep in mind that the gun cameras shown here have really narrow angles/i.e are zoomed in)
Oh. Yeah you are correct then. The fighter engagement is a bit of a mess.
So how does the series compare to BoB or The Pacific so far?
I've read that the biggest complaint is that its too dull
>interviews with salt and pepper veterans
How many bomber crew vets are even still around? Its 79 years since WW2 ended. The ones they interviewed for the Pacific in 2010 are all dead now
Imagine how kino it would have been to get at least one episode from the German perspective (maybe a night fighter squadron), but that would probably have gotten Spielberg uninvited from the next baby penis sucking convention.
I can't even be arsed to pirate it and I've pirated Mac And Me
