>hugely successful leading man in 80s, 90s
>same age as Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Keanu Reeves
>his star faded while they continue to find success
What went wrong?
>hugely successful leading man in 80s, 90s
>same age as Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Keanu Reeves
>his star faded while they continue to find success

He wasn't really that good looking and had little to no charisma compared to the other guys you mentioned.
Brad Pitt and Keanu Reeves have zero charisma.
>Brad Pitt has zero charisma
you are literally moronic and don't know what the word means. Keanu you might not like and IRL he seems just tepid, but on-screen he has considerable charisma.
>He wasn't really that good looking
You must be really ugly if you think he's super good-looking. His face is still off and has too many dull features.
He just looks Irish.
his face was basically just straight lines
I've always liked him
same. tends to be in some nice kino.
agreed - I knew s2 was gonna be absolute dogshit after how s1 ended, but tried to watch an episode anyway. so damn awful, dude.
>Wild Things is his peak though.
absolutely true
one of my favorite actors, honestly. not even sure why. like that one anon said, he does well in seedy characters and I think in those he exudes a certain kind of charisma that many others can't pull off. kinda like you know he's going to betray you or frick things up at some point but you tag along anyway because he's fun to be around. saw albino alligator not too long ago and enjoyed that - cozy atmosphere.
>certain kind
It's predatory. Like what actual serial killers have. The way he tends to stare unblinking, without much active emotion. It works really well for the right roles.
Reptilian. Fair analysis.
wayward pines season 1 is cool
go watch it without spoilers if you haven't seen it already
The House that Jack Built was better than anything Pitt, Depp, and Reeves have done in the last decade.
He isn't as good looking. He has the bad guy look to him, and basically plays the same sleazy type of guy. There are only so many parts where you need a Matt Dillon to play Matt Dillon.
Wild Things is his peak though.
He does better when he's playing someone sinister, seedy, etc. Not neccesarily a bad guy, but not the prototypical leading man.
For me, it’s Kevin Dillon
>What went wrong?
because everytime people look at thim they think it's that guy
and that guy looks like ethan hawke
ain't nothin better than a piece of pussy ... except maybe the Indy 500
Isnt he dating some young girl now?
He was never as big a star as any of the people you named, and The House That Jack Built is a better movie than any of them have been in in the past decade.
Pitt, Depp and Reeves have never starred in a film as good as The House That Jack Built so it doesn't matter
>Depp
PUBLIC ENEMIES (2009)
he took the emilio estevez exit ramp because he didn't want to play the games anymore
His performance in jack that house built was better than anything johnny depp or keanu reeves has done or will ever do
>What went wrong?
He got a life.
>Matt Dillon
For me, it’s Katt Dylan
Drugstore Cowboy is really good if you guys need a kino.
u better not be lying, anon.
Brad Pitt was never A-List
Johnny Depp hasn't been in anything good this century
Keanu is alright though
>Brad Pitt was never A-List
Take your meds
The last thing I remember seeing him in is crash where he played the racist cop. Did that character kill his career? Apparently all of the slurs were ad libbed
1) he looks like a goy.
>Dillon was raised in a close-knit Roman Catholic family.
because he is, you fricking moron.
the superior dillon (pictured right)
He has been playing the exact same chatacter since he was a teen
they were in flicks, he continues to be in kino.
for me, it's Rumble Fish
is that any good?
>What went wrong?
He went on to star in some awesome films and become a much better actor?
