>McQueen is too old to race
>He gets the high tech training equipment top racers of the world are using
>Still too shit to race
>Go cross county to "awaken" his racing or some shit
>The shitty sidekick girl is faster than the racing car
>Get a rematch against Jackson Storm
>Give up and let the rookie win the race
What is the message here?
How can anyone praise this shit?
The message is you will get old and you should make way for the next generation
Why would anyone want to watch that?
Because until humanity comes up with one form of immortality, acepting you eventually go past your prime is part of life
Funny considering who are at the top of the company
If they need you to make way, they aren't ready. The new Top Gun did it better.
2p Gun was overrated as hell bro
"[x] was popular, but I didn't like it" doesn't work as criticism, bro
Can we please for the sake of the conversation focus on the fact that it's being compared favorably to CARS 3. I don't feel like that's a ridiculous claim regardless of what you think of the movie on its own.
the message here is that he should've settled down with his redneck boyfriend
the message here is that we should bring eugenics back to make better athletes
>we should bring eugenics back to make better athletes
We never really stopped doing that for a lot of things
>Dresses up like Hudson Hornet at the end
Why
He tried his best and was mature enough to step away.
You may get old, but you can at least teach the new generation new things.
But none of you old men would get that, you seethe at gen Alpha like boomers seethed at millennials.
>You may get old, but you can at least teach the new generation new things.
Cruz learned literally nothing
99% of the movie is building up McQueen to win, or at the very least tie with Jackson.
I do not give a single frick about Cruz, the plot didn't either, the marketing didn't either
It was Disney's not so subtle way of telling you that you and everything you love will be forcefully replaced with new, more diverse, things and that you should be happy for that.
it was alllegory for Pixar giving up and passing the mantle to WDAS
