I hope they start off with no Xavier or Magneto, both have been done well twice, what's the point of making them key characters a third time.
Flashback to Xavier starting the X-Men but going MIA with a mission, alongside Beast, Angel and Iceman and then put Cyclops and Jean in charge of the X-men to recruit the Giant-Size team. The three original ones get found, Xavier remains MIA.
