Put them on your plex server and download plex to your smart TV, then watch them on your living room TV. That's what me and my roommate do.

I'd say use Jellyfin but the app isn't available on a lot of smart TVs, so I use both. plex for TV, Jellyfin for other devices and streaming over the internet with transcoding.
