Yeah, there are whiny little homosexuals on this website (of course, and probably nowhere else) angry that he's "a boomer throwing away money that should be for his (already rich) kids". Jesus you israelite-obsessed schizos really never quit. Now you're basically saying you can "spot the israelite", no matter what the evidence says? Have a baseless theory for why generations ago all of the people you dislike are somehow israeli so even with nothing to prove it, you can still declare why everyone should hate them. You know, because being israeli is enough reason. Down to a man, each and every one of them is wielding unearned power and influence and gets extra money.

He had a net worth of over $400 million before financing this movie. Even if it bombs after the tax write off permitted they will still stand to inherit around $100 million each, not to mention all of them are already independently wealthy now anyway (even if they were able to build their wealth on the back of their father's name and status).

He needs to put up another 100m for marketing because no one's picking it up.

          Anonymous

Weren't distributors willing to pick it up but the $100m marketing was a figure he demanded at which they baulked? If so he needs to be flexible on that demand. If he insists on a theatrical release with that sort of marketing then he may be able to organise a matched funding arrangement where he ponies up a chunk of the marketing budget. Even if that falls through there will probably be a streaming service willing to purchase it and he'll break even. Should he pony up the entire marketing budget along with the production budget and it bombs then his kids might end up with a situation where they only inherit a measly $70 million or so but I think even if that occurs they'll get by.

Coppola got this rich through almost solely his own effort, why should his children be expected to do any different?

Because talentless gen-z homosexuals feel entitled to the same circumstances baby boomers were afforded, therefore they ignorantly just hate all of them and think they need to tighten up the belt so they can leave their kids set up.

The dorks who express this are losers from broken homes with little to no wealth for them anyway though, so it's just misplaced anger really.

"Wah, wah... I can't make it... it's 'chad's' fault and it's israelites' fault and the boomers... I'll fix everything by being mad online about it."

        >Also coppola only had three children, and one of his died like an absolute moron.
        >Coppola was killed in a speedboating incident on Memorial Day, 1986, aged 22, in Annapolis, Maryland.[1] Griffin O'Neal, who was piloting the boat, had attempted to pass between two slow-moving boats, unaware that the boats were connected by a towline. While O'Neal barely had time to duck, Coppola was struck and killed.[2] At the time of the incident, O'Neal was being directed by Francis Ford Coppola in Gardens of Stone and was subsequently replaced. O'Neal was later charged with manslaughter. He ultimately pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of "negligent operation of a boat", was fined $200 and sentenced to 18 months' probation in 1987.[3] He eventually received an 18-day jail sentence for not performing 400 hours of community service as ordered.

It's just lackluster compared to 1 and 2. Doesn't have the same energy or soul, and not enough strong main characters, whereas the first 2 are filled with strong characters.

              Anonymous

It pales in comparison to the first two but it's still a good movie. It's unfairly derided because it's not a masterpiece like them. Even if I do prefer the way Michael Corleone's story ends with 2 it's objectively a solid movie. If it was just a standalone mob movie title it would probably be looked at much more favourably.

Frick that cast. I'm not a fan of using big-name actors as it detracts from the realism for me, I don't want to watch you when you've already starred in a big name movie I fricking hate. AI cant come soon enough, erase all these stupid faces.
