Braveheart's great if taken as a fantasy film. But it goes out of it's way to shit on one of the most important men in Scottish history just to big up William Wallace who by most accounts was a bit of a c**t. Outlaw King is a better account of the actual history while not being as good of a film.

You should read the Richard Stark "Parker" novels. Great audiobooks too. Payback was based on "The Hunter" and Mel was a perfect Parker but the writers/director really bungled it.
