No, it wouldn't. Your brain makes connections and releases chemicals, regardless of how you changed your brain from despair, you wouldn't automatically be in the same state as soon as time rewound. So people that think one days despair and descent into madness would automatically be the first thing you'll feel when time rewinds, are wrong.
But according to movie logic, they would keep those memories and remember them instantly the next day, releasing chemicals.

Same day on repeat would be a nightmare but it would at least be redeemed by the infinite number of crimes you could commit with no repercussions of any kind. All guilt washed away, day by day, with your id completely satisfied.
It would get boring though, and you'd be in a prison of time. You'd go insane and an hero.
But then an extended period of time on repeat would also be suffering. Any relationships or accomplishments, things that take time to build up, would come crushing down, like having a corrupted memory card. Even if time repeated every, say, year, you still risk a lot of disappointment and heartache.
The best would be a middle ground. Maybe 3-6 months. This way you would be able to have meaningful experiences, travel to new places, pick up women, without becoming too emotionally invested.
But even with the final option, after about 50-100 years you would be bored again, I'd imagine.
I think it'd be nice to live like that for a year or two. Maybe ten years max. But then go to being a normal mortal. That way you've experienced a lot more than most people will be able to at a youngish age, and then go on to use that wisdom to make sure you have a good life when it's time for the 'real one'.

What happens if you woke up a quadraplegic in hospital from a car accident and your time loop was of that first day of quadraplegia
You would eventually hit everything you could possibly do, every possible scenario within 100 years easily. Now a u day cycle on repeat or a month would be interesting as you can have more meaningful relationships and go around the world. You would still eventually hit every combination but now we are talking millions of years before you get to that
