It's effects do, if she somehow made Dexter a perfectly healthy (for his age) 200 year old, it probably wouldn't kill him, but it would make it REAL easy for anything else to kill him

What’s with all these threads relating to the cartoons shown in the new Checkered Past block? I’d understand if it was just ones like these which are after the fact, but I saw some before too.
Some of those episodes have bleak endings. That episode has Dexter staying old and falling asleep. He could very easily never be changed back and die as an old man while his family wonder what happened to him. Or Dee Dee would actually tell his parents about everything and they get him aged back to normal and then he wipes their memory.
I would think DeeDee would try to do it herself.
There are many episodes where DeeDee was the one who would end up rescuing Dexter without the parents involvement.
There was one episode where Dee Dee saved Dexter from some space prison only to send him back when he was explaining that she was the one who sent him there in the first place. And it ends with her not knowing what happened and looking for Dexter again like she was doing the entire episode.
dexter entrusted deedee with the simple task of pressing a button when he gave her a signal but she didnt. why? because she was sleepy... and now dex got subjected to aeons of endless mental torture and relentless nightmares (nightmares which are headed by her, or dex's preception of her, by the way) just because SHE needed a nap more than the guy who was losing his sanity due to said endless night terrors.
assuming dexter didnt got into a catatonic coma or brain death already, he would probably wake up as a lumbering, drooling ptsd ridden mess.

She actually has no clue what any of his machines do most of the time, and she still messes with it. Any one of the buttons she randomly presses could have messed with some vital safety function that instantly kills people when not in place. >inb4 'But Dee-Dee doesn't know that any of it is dangerous!'
