I never realized there was a conflict while watching it. It starts out silly and grows a plot. The serious twist to the first season finale was great. The secret butthole council seemed like just a gag until then.

Nightmare actually gave some backstory to Salacia and kind of humanized him a bit but none of that was in the movie, and I really expected Murderface to go crazy and start killing the Klokateers, but he just made Nathan feel bad for a bit and then "told" Salacia where the army was.
So... she's basically written out in the film?
All this time I thought she was going to be their new manager while Charles was away. Feels like a wasted opportunity, tbh.
