>other countries after watching anime >aspire towards self improvement and becoming swole >americans after watching anime >wants to crossdress and take hormones and larp as a preteen girl and post about it on Cinemaphile
it tried to go back to DB roots, which is adventrue with some fighting here and there, instead of long ass battles.
i liked that, but at the moment everyone was too used to how DBZ was.
It's a damn shame.
GT just came out at the wrong time, everyone was suffering from franchise fatigue after Z concluded, and GT suffered as a result.
>It was the wrong time >It was fatigue
Nonsense.
It should NEVER have been a Goku series.
After watching the boo arc that concluded with "I'm gonna train the next super-addition to our team", doing a series that started with "Whooops, Goku lost his powers! I guess is hunting giant fish for dinner and doing smaller stuffs now... again!"
That de-escalation was an insult and is FRICKING moronic.
It's like a reverse cinematic cape movie. In the first movie you get the powers and defeat the biggest villain, and in the second one you lost them and spend the movie dodging bullies and trying to get the girl.
> first movie you get the powers and defeat the biggest villain, and in the second one you lost them and spend the movie dodging bullies and trying to get the girl.
So spider-man 2 ?
He lost his "will to fight", not his powers
That's a very common trope and have nothing to do with what the dude is saying
A more close comparison with GT is ending Men in Black 1 with J being flashed and Men in Black 2 stars J being a fresh cop uncovering the death of his his best friend (It was his mentor in the academy all along).
they keep adding meaningless transformations that have nothing to do with any established lore and is always just a color change. pink zamasu because why not. white gohan because why not. orange piccolo. super is fun for the non-battle comedy between characters. and the movie was good in those parts, genuinely enjoyable. but the fighting in Super is atrocious and incredibly arbitrary. it is given zero thought. i cannot stress enough how little of a frick they give, how little thought they put into the fights in Super.
> is always just a color change
There's an interview with Toriyama where he outright he talks about how he named the new form beast Gohan and was thinking of a unique look to go along with it but decided to just go with spiky colored hair and thought it looked good.
>be goku and Vegeta >Train with gods to unlock divine power through constant struggle >still constantly job >be Chadhan >spends years just studying >Chadcollo pretending to get hurt makes him mad >canonically the strongest in the universe now
When do we stop winning Gohan Bros?
GT has characters that are better referenced than watched, such as SS4 Goku/Vegita, Super Android 17, and Baby. I remember talking about these characters as if they were mythical creatures with my cousins as kids. A recent rewatch shows their weaknesses.
GT is great for this, literally all the arcs seem incredible in concept
>first arc is about travelling the universe to collect the dragon balls >second is about an alien taking revenge on the saiyans for wiping his race out by taking over earth and mind controlling everyone >third arc is about an hell portal opening on earth and various previous villains coming through it >final arc is about the dragon balls releasing evil, super strong dragons after them being overly used by the z fighters
Then you watch the actual anime and its just boring
why does piccolo look especially stupid?
they made his brow thicker
caveman energy, like hulk/the thing/juggernaut
More than Gohan?
la creatividad
nice of them to let an aspiring teenager draw this.
El Gohan blanco... Dios mio..
y el picolo amarilo
>other countries after watching anime

why
it's the chemicals in the water
Its a white thing
imagine if the one on the left shaved his hair off and it turns out his head has the exact same shape as his hair hahah can you imagine
Why does piccolo look like a chud?
The absolute state of dbzgays.
GT is a good anime.

So what you're saying is that Uub should have been the main character in GT?
NO GOD DAMMIT
THAT'S STILL FRICKING DE-ESCALATION
I don't like your tone, anon.

Spider-Man 2 is based, DBShit is cringe and worse than GT
That scene made me feel weird when I was a kid
DAY 6969: BEJITA STILL HASN'T KISSED MY WIFE
>he followed ME here.

>el blanco gohan is real
based hispanics shitposting so hard it becomes reality
Go back to your containment board Hispanic.
Dragon Ball is honorary television.
It looks worse in 3D.

Why do mexicans especially like DBZ so much
MAKE THE HAIR BIGGER
Looks better than all transformations in super so far
Dragon Ball is at its best with its moronic designs
>Dragon Ball is at its best with its moronic designs
This is what killed the franchise
theres just something about the buu series.

Such is life.

exactly. incredible premises, terrible execution.
SS4 Gogeta though
shaggy also got a power up
looks fine to me, piccolo looks moronic though
