Only the original 2099 run is good. Miguel never really had a series as good as that one even though it could be topped. It's a great series, but ends kind of abruptly and the setting has room for expansion

The very end just has everything happen extremely suddenly and the last issue ends on a major downer note. I'd still say you can read it all and be satisfied. Second half is weaker, and you start missing Leonardi's art, but it has some fun stuff still.

I enjoyed his character quite frankly. His aesethetic was neat and his only joke wasn't JUST the chai tea bit.

I mean, the fact you thought making fun of his face just because he was black might make your racist sounds like a red flag, but yes he is ugly af. But also the most based character in the movie. At least he follows through with his anarchism unlike most.

Peter didn't bring his daughter with him expecting a chase, the original plan was simply meeting with miles and discussing what to do with spot (and the whole canon events thing). Even still, she was never in any immediate danger during the Chase scene and she might already have spider powers keeping her safe. Also pete literally points out she has a spider bracelet.

The original cast was overrated. They hardly interacted with on another or miles compared to the second cast (i.e Miles, Gwen, Hobie, and Pavitr), they were mostly carried by being more conceptually unique (even though i'd argue hobie looks the most visually interesting out of the mainline cast).
Miguel is definitely the coolest of the cast. But hell, he's still outshined by like Spot (who also filled a antagonist role) and the other spider people in terms of popularity. Hell Peni appeared for like 2.5 seconds and she inarguably has more fricking fanart that Miguel does (which i personally despise).
