It's a typical scifi time travel movie at that point that does it's own thing. It's interesting but then it gets to the farm and the majority of the movie is then in that farm and the time travel shit isn't important as it then becomes a movie about a kid with magical psychic powers. Rian subverting expectations again.
2012 is where I stopped watching new movies. It's only been recently that I started going to the movies again. I won't even let myself watch a movie at home that's not at least 10 years old.
