What the frick, some of those clips are not from the Anglosphere, they're from my country
How many times that actually happened?
I tried looking into it and can't find mentions of fires or riots, but apparently they are being loud and messy. This is apparently from some theater:
https://twitter.com/therealsupes/status/1543295568968949760
If they just dressed up in suits, the whole meme would be innocent enough. But if they're so disruptive that they ruin the movie night for other customers, that's another thing.
The Independent reported that >One manager of a Vue Cinema in Worcester said they were forced to issue £1,300 worth of refunds in just a single day due to complaints from customers about the so-called “gentleminions”. >They said: “The trend cost me £1,300 yesterday. I had to refund all of the tickets in that theatre because of kids shouting and mimicking the Minions while the film was playing. >“It was a group of about eight kids. Now, when we see any kids coming in to see the film dressed up we give them a warning. >“We tell them that if there is one complaint, whatever that may be, they will be kicked out of the cinema. >“It’s something being implemented across a lot of cinemas, I have colleagues in Cheltenham who I know have had problems as well.” >Another cinema manager added: “The issue with the trend is children running around and treating the film as an opera, shouting and clapping.
The BBC article mentions the number of refunds as the biggest problem, too. Also, the other customers whose movie night gets ruined tend to be families with young children.
>Mr Phillips-Smith said there had been a "massive" financial impact. >He said this was "simply due to the amount of refunds we've had to give" as there had been "multiple large groups in almost every screening - so it's got to have been at least 100 or 200 across the weekend". >Mr Phillips-Smith said he had "never had to pull a film before" but "the sheer numbers and behaviour aren't manageable". >He said: "It's been absolutely heart-breaking, we've had families who won't even go back into the screen when we've tried to sort it out, families leaving before the film has even started and of course the children have been in tears."

Wait, white people are being disruptive to the point where everyone else asks for refunds and they aren't being thrown out without calling the police, granting everyone involved a criminal record over some fricking meme over and over and over again?
Hilarious if true, just shove that stick right into your ability to get employment kek.
I say it's about time kids got a taste of their own medicine.
This is what you little shits get for showing up in my PG-13 or R rated movies and babbling the whole time.

>dress up in suits >call yourselves "gentleminions" >act with no class at all
Honestly seems like they should have been wearing diapers instead. The meme would have actually been mildly funny and kinda wholesome if they acted like gentlemen, instead it's just another instance of teenagers thinking they're being edgy in a uniquely ironic way.
People go to see the new minions movie dressed in suits. When they get there they scream the whole time and throw things at the screen and generally make a mess. It's the same brand of autism as that rick and morty mcdonald's sauce shit.
Are zoomers, dare I say, absolutely based?
A bunch of privileged white kids doing privileged white kids stuff
I'll allow it this time because frick minions, they ruined everything they touched.
This would be nice if they weren't doing it to post it on tik Tok for likes.
It's nice to see teenagers well dressed though despite the mop hair. Current fashion is an eyesore to look at.
Are you in your 60s? Actual question here because holy shit you just gave massive old man vibes. You now remember all those facebook pages run by unironic boomers telling people to post here.
Just leave lmao. I left for two years and came back during the covid lockdowns because being stuck in the house was boring and came back to chat with randos
You'll never see a horde of Gen X bozos or Millennial homosexuals in suits like it's the 1920/50s, Boomers maybe... That truly died with the Silent Generation. I'd never thought I'd see a horde of Gen Z'ers in suits, ever.

Nah, this sounds like a different type of autism.
These people seem like they're just out to ruin the experience for the people the intended audience.

Can you honestly blame Gen z? Look at this shitty fricking clown world they're growing up in. If I were them, I'd frick up movie theaters just for lolz, too.
Never heard of this. Why would they want less money?...
Remember that Morbius meme where people where joking about dressing up in suits and going to watch the movie
Well people are doing it again for Minions 2 except this time they're doing it not only for real but they have apparently destroyed the watching experience for everyone including making mosh pits, screaming whenever Gru talks in the movie and throwing bananas at the screen
>Well people are doing it again for Minions 2 except this time they're doing it not only for real but they have apparently destroyed the watching experience for everyone including making mosh pits, screaming whenever Gru talks in the movie and throwing bananas at the screen

What's funny is that if you see the suit as a form of racial profiling, you understand how many "racist" laws are still racially biased without having to mention race. The idea that racism is only racism when a something specifically and blatantly targets a race is a popular talking point, but I understand why it's used.

I don't believe it was started by them at all. I totally believe that they took advantage of it and made it seem more popular to fear monger as the right loves to do but that's it.
Why are you trying to spin it into some political bullshit? The reason they didn’t want them in the theater is because they were making a lot of noise and pissing of the people who weren’t in on the joke
You said there has ben "Multiple" reports; Setting fires, fights, riots and police getting involved. Nothing in that article mentions that.

they should have special "gentleminions" screenings with a requirement to be in a suit to enter
The 14-16 year olds will love it
Someone on The Guardian suggested that too.
https://www.theguardian.com/film/2022/jul/05/teens-disrupting-minions-screenings-gentleminions-despicable-me-rise-of-gru
That guy saw the whole meme as a positive phenomenon. He argued that doing special Gentleminions screenings might give a chance to do something interesting and bring the audiences back to theaters after Covid.
>one theater cancels movie, probably due to unrelated reasons >this must mean that screenings everywhere are being canceled attributed to this one thing we assume it was
News today is a joke.
You survived the wave of mass-shooting during the "Joker" screenings? Every news media was talking about it, so it must have been true! Would they ever... like... write bullshit to sell their gutter-tier garbage?
They didn't say there was a wave of mass-shootings, just that violent incels do shootings and there was possibility of a copy cat of the Aurora shooter. There was a credible theat on one theater.
You're right that it's mostly clickbait; you can write articles about any "feeling" people get.
People are mad that 13-17 year olds who were little kids when the 1st minion movie came out are viral memeing. Not a big deal. Just another layer of Minion irony memes
Mask wearing is common amongst the Asian populace and that's even before covid. They don't see it as a politically charged, existential crisis-instilling muzzle like Americans do.

Didn’t see Morbius, but every time I went to see a Marvel movie the audience was absolutely insufferable and screamed whenever something mildly exciting happened
>Make babbling nonsensical cartoon goofballs for coddled generation >Diagnose them with every letter of the alphabet, get them started on prescription meds in kindergarten >They grow up chemically moronic and without any sense of self-awareness or irony. >Make new movie about their goofball toonies
This country is currently managed by a generation whose parents didn't raise them and had high amounts of lead in their gas, paint, water supply and pretty much everything else relevant while they grew up lmao.
it's not the attire, it's the fact large groups of people in that attire are crowding the cinema and causing disruptions to people not trying to meme for a tiktok video
I swear most of you morons have not only never worked a service industry job but also have no clue how human interactions work
I haven't worked a service job in like 15 years, but working one at least gives you some respect for employees to not do dumb shit that actually affects their jobs or give them more shit to deal with
This is the real reason parents should push their teenagers to get jobs. Not so much so they have their own money, but so they grow up to have empathy for people in those shitty jobs.
>lol service jobs aren't real jobs lmao get a read job >WTF WHY IS NO ONE WORKING IN GROCERY STORES! I CAN'T GET MY HECKIN' GROVERIESARINOS AND THE SHELVES ARE EMPTY AHHHH NO ONE WANTS TO WORK!!!
They will never do that too cuz they have monopolized the shit so much they can fight it till the end, go bankrupt and the government will bail them out because they're "too big to fail" and their lobbies have congress by the balls.
This. I didn't know it was a thing until this thread. Imagine all the normie zoomers that are going to read articles about this and want to join in on da epic maymay
>devious lick epidemic
Oh that shit was funny as frick. I think I'll go watch some youtube vids on it for a bit. Thanks for reminding me, anon.
Sometimes I regret growing up in the 90s-20s and missing a lot of the more fun seeming internet culture stuff
>In March 2022, The Washington Post revealed that the devious lick challenge was utilized as part of an orchestrated campaign by Meta Platforms and Republican consulting firm Targeted Victory to damage TikTok's public reputation.
This shit goes deep
More fun? That's debatable. Original internet culture (=board culture) used to be all about making original content, even if it was shitty MS Paint comics it still became so iconic lots of it is still used today. Zoomers can't really create anything.

>Zoomers can't really create anything.
I wonder when this meme will die.
Is this your brain when all ayou do if feed yourself with uber ironic Family Guy, Morbius, Pickle Rick and Discord memes? We can't have any fricking discussiom about anything anymore
>memes surrounding content becoming more than just Cinemaphile shitposting
Yes. moron meme culture is catchy in the normie sphere, it was never special, it just took internet culture acclimation.
Close but not quite. This trend has been entirely male. Lefties fear dudes being dudes, and absolutely despise men having fun without women being involved. Race is a good guess, but this one is about the male sex.
Minions is a hell of a hill to die on though.
Get real you idiot. It’s literally just a bunch of kids being douchebags for fun. Take off your culture war goggles for ten minutes and see it for what it is, teenaged boys being edgy and ruining a theater going experience for children and families because they think it’s funny. At best you can say it’s an attempt at parody of the behavior the media always fears out of films like Joker, a cultish outburst inspired by a fictional messiah. Instead it’s not someone with an actual extreme ideology, it’s fricking Minions, and the outburst is just as harmless and juvenile as the little yellow bastards themselves.
It's funny how some people turn everything into a victimization thing. You would think the average Cinemaphile user would be ridiculing this sort of narcissistic tiktok shit but you have people here and there injecting their stupid culture or race war bullshit into this to glorify them instead.
It would be funny though if fricking minions became the emblem for these mra type guys out of sheer mental gymnastics.
Is it?
Spics are going to outbreed them in no time and they don't seem to be doing anything about it. Hell, it feels like many are embracing it, even the so called "racist" whites.
Why are there bots in this thread? So far I have only seen one article overseas about this. Not in America. Can someone e please give more context and sources? Why can't people back up their statements with credible information?
>Why can't people back up their statements with credible information?
because you're bias against facts and logic and theyre wasted on the likes of you whom hath already formed his own misinformed opinion about the world and its workings
Don’t matter it sleazy grabbed the international market, the movie is really just decent, but has all the kids love, so they success, at the end illumination just care about making safe movies that make money
I wonder if the anti-SJW youtubers who presented watching Minions as a right wing thing to own Lightyear (which leftists don't actually like or care about) will have the balls to addeess this, lmao
I'm not a shill, Lightyear sucks balls and Disney is a terrible company that panders to minority groups for good boy points because they can't make anything good to save their lifes anymore
I just dislike sensational politics-touting hacks
because disliking animated pandering doesn't mean you have to support a white ethnostate, you reactionary homosexual. letting media concerns radicalize you is the most idiotic shit.
> "Gentleminions" > Posts image of a minion holding a bunch of bananas
Did they actually use an ancient Simpsons /Team Fortress 2 meme of the Spy with a shitton of cigarettes in his mouth, except as a minion with a bunch of bananas, and i would assume a number of dumbass children tried to mimmick what they saw and choked and died?
> ~~*certain people*~~ are offended that a bunch of white guys decided to wear suits to the theaters
Seriously?
I though Minions already had made more money than Lightyear? Banning one won't make more people go watch the one that already is a dud.
I guess it at least might help save some face by making the beating less severe, and to actually help Love and Thunder instead.
This isn't even Lightyear vs. Minions among Zoomers, it's Morbius vs. Minions thing. Because no one went to see Morbius because of memes, and now they go see Minions because of memes, and that's what it makes funny. Or that's how my nephew explained it to me.
Literally no one gives a frick about Lightyear except some moronic culture war millennials.
I’ve always maintained that millennials’ biggest downfall was being defined by their childhood icons. They can’t stand that Buzz Lightyear isn’t as inspiring to kids on the modern playground as Gru, they want their childhood iconography to last forever same as Gen X, on a sacred pedestal of pre millennium innocence. Zoomers have no delusions that their childhood favorites will last forever, they’re simply interested in reveling in the joy they provide while they can before the bleak future arrives.
You're VASTLY overestimating how much people give a frick about Lightyear in general. The reason you only ever heard people whining about culture war shit (and republicans at that) is because no one cared or wanted to see it.
Toy Story is loved. Buzz Lightyear the character isn't.
A Woody movie probably would have been a way better choice to make a 'inspired by the inspiration' or whatever movie over
>People DO love Buzz LIghtyear. More specifically the one who thinks he's a space ranger.
No, they really really don't. Like Buzz from Toy Story is fine but no one wanted a movie about THE REAL BUZZ LIGHTYEAR! And that's the reason it failed. Not gay shit, not dumb ways they act but because no one fricking wanted a movie about his 'character' or whatever lol
Most people don't love Disney/Pixar characters the same way as they love, let's say, Spock from Star Trek. This is why something like Kingdom Hearts works so well because people like seeing the Disney characters appearing there and interacting for a while with the KH characters, but no one plays KH game just to see Woody.
I don't know what you're talking about, no one who liked Toy Story cares whether a shitty kids movie sells better than another shitty kids movie, most of those people are now adults and have better things to do like taking care of family. I'm talking of people like this.
Also Minions are from gen Z childhood, they were all in elementary school when the first movie came out.
>We aren't like millenials and their childish obsession with childhood icons >We're only consooming the new minions movie ironically
Zoomers combine the consoomerist mentality of millenials with the self-righteous hypocrisy of generation x.
I dont understand whats supposed to be cringe about this
you guys never go to bad movies just to shit on them with your friends ? ive seen the emoji movie in cinemas and was legitimately pissing myself thanks to my company
we have a world thats designed to bring us apart, so many people are living alone in a one room apartment and here we have something that brings people together, theres not many pleasures greater then chimping out over nonsense with a group of likeminded people
>You can't talk during a movie
you can whisper and snicker all you want, of course your still gonna annoy like 2-3 seat radius around you but who gives a shit, cinemas are usually half empty all the time anyway
>not cracking jokes with the boys over a movie >not sneaking in drinks during said jokes, while you shitpost about what line of coke the director was on.
Dude you gotta try it some time, it's fricking great.
Same thing happened back when "Snakes on a Plane" came out and people went to see it wearing afros, suits and doing swastikas. Zoomers didn't invent being cringe irl.
I don't see anything wrong with doing public display like that, the minion morons are purposely breaking shit and ruining moments other people paid for.
When Snakes on a Plane became a cult film on Cinemaphile, people started arranging screenings where they dressed up as Habbo trolls and yelled memes. I think it was around 2007 or 2008. Not much photo material is left from those times since people didn't use to film themselves all the time like a bunch of morons.
>movie broke records revenue >let's have a controversy now to make the title viral worldwive
who need good stories when your marketing team is full of geniuses
That will only affect and ruin smaller theater owners. I still remember that clip of an angry movie theater's owner ripping apart a Mulan display after the movie was moved to Disney+ because of the pandemic.
Oh wait. Maybe that's the plan all along. In fact, forget the "maybe"; it is indeed The Plan.
Glad I've been to Japan where I don't have to deal with this nonsense. Everyone's too busy to bother with being rude to others (rudeness includes not fitting the norm, so yay!).

It's nice to see teenagers well dressed though despite the mop hair. Current fashion is an eyesore to look at.
Are you in your 60s? Actual question here because holy shit you just gave massive old man vibes.
You now remember all those facebook pages run by unironic boomers telling people to post here.
Everything gen Z does is for social media likes, that's how they grew up
>zoomers are bringing back 20s fashion
Unironically based, people wearing suits back then was stylish as frick
>sneakers and off-the-rack walmart suits
>1920s fashion
Shut up, homosexual.
He means 2020s fashion.
gays are usually fashion experts. Care to explain yourself anon?
wish i could be a normal social zoomer instead of wasting my youth in this shithole.... frick
Just leave lmao. I left for two years and came back during the covid lockdowns because being stuck in the house was boring and came back to chat with randos
This fills me with dread... reminding me of my wasted youth...
Have Zoomers surpassed my generation? Is it time to pass the torch?
This seems like a fun trend, if they aren't actually causing trouble at screenings then there shouldn't be an issue.
>that music
Clean it up wagie
Tik Tok ruined the general interest in the film, now that they started the minionsgate
hilarious actually and in good fun
I've lost the plot on culture. I was getting everything fine up until 'drip' memes started, now I'm falling behind and it's become scary and weird
I "get it", but getting it is half the battle, I know i'll never be bothered enough to convincingly act that way so there's no reason to engage at all
>Whiteboy Zoom-Zooms gathering to watch Minions terrifies the Leftoid-Globohomosexual Axis
Funniest shit I've ever seen since Black person Rick
You'll never see a horde of Gen X bozos or Millennial homosexuals in suits like it's the 1920/50s, Boomers maybe... That truly died with the Silent Generation. I'd never thought I'd see a horde of Gen Z'ers in suits, ever.
Well maybe except the IRL Habbo raid at Snakes on a plane.
>first video is hornsby westfield
Based Australian shitposting
People go to see the new minions movie dressed in suits. When they get there they scream the whole time and throw things at the screen and generally make a mess. It's the same brand of autism as that rick and morty mcdonald's sauce shit.
>It's the same brand of autism as that rick and morty mcdonald's sauce shit.
Nah, this sounds like a different type of autism.
These people seem like they're just out to ruin the experience for the people the intended audience.
So like Cinemaphile if we werent too old for that shit?
A bunch of privileged white kids doing privileged white kids stuff
Why is everything about race with you people?
What, affording a suit?
>hoodrat Black folk buy air jordans wakanda we wuz edition for $250
>can't aford off the rack suit for $100
Hol up. Are you implying socio-economic spending behavior is RACE RELATED?
It's a fricking suit you bloody mong.
The video I saw has two black people in the group, pls do better
Most Ive seen is a even mix of whites, hispanics and nigs, very normal american teen crowd.
You even see the ocasional asian from time to time.
The only "privleged white kids" I see are millennial champagne socialists saying they are fighting to "topple capitalism" and start a "revolution" even thought they are the fricking textbook definition of bourgeoisie that the og Commies fricking hating
What does this even mean in this context? You talk like another moronic Tumblr hole.
Gen Z meme
Can you honestly blame Gen z? Look at this shitty fricking clown world they're growing up in. If I were them, I'd frick up movie theaters just for lolz, too.
Oh, so they're basically ripping off the screening culture of The Room.
Isn't this the screening culture of Rocky Horror Picture Show?
>watching experience
>for minions
come on now
>have apparently destroyed the watching experience
If anything they have improved the experience.
Like what the frick, its fricking minions - one step above teletubbies baby tier entertainment.
I know this is hard for you to grasp since you'll never get laid, but people take their kids to these movies.
>reminder that Cinemaphile defends this kind of behaviour
Since when, and what was it?
read the thread, i dont care to explain.
Media freaking out over memes because it's white kids doing it.
They showing up in mobs and trashing theaters.
White privilege means we look the other way
It means no one calls the cops on them.
What's funny is that if you see the suit as a form of racial profiling, you understand how many "racist" laws are still racially biased without having to mention race. The idea that racism is only racism when a something specifically and blatantly targets a race is a popular talking point, but I understand why it's used.
>muh cultur war
Shut the fyuck up. There are videos showing everyone from hispanics to nigs to jeets to chinks doing this too.
>Chumping out and throwing bananas
>White
I dobut it
>white people can never do stupid things ever!
Racist are so clueless
He's joking, dummy
Zoomers act like Black folk whenever they can.
A bunch of teens dress up in suits and scream during the moving the movie the entire time
An another case of young men rebelling against a system that hates them.
I wonder if Disney is secretly paying these hoards of suits to hurt Minions financially through cancelling screenings
You should unironically go outside and touch grass
>This obvious publicity stunt and smear campaign it totally not exactly what it is
Not everything is a schizo tier level conspiracy, anon. It's just a stupid meme that kids are doing because they're stupid.
Yes, anon, those guys who look in their 20s are al just 2 kids stacked on top of each other
>Here's that kid I was telling you about
>ho look in their 20
You're shit at telling ages btw
See the deviant lick trend smear campaign posted earlier
I don't believe it was started by them at all. I totally believe that they took advantage of it and made it seem more popular to fear monger as the right loves to do but that's it.
This is incredible. No wonder Cinemaphilemblr millennials are seething, this is exactly the kind of fun experience that turns boys to men
Teenagers seeing movies, this offended someone.
Why are you trying to spin it into some political bullshit? The reason they didn’t want them in the theater is because they were making a lot of noise and pissing of the people who weren’t in on the joke
Sounds like someone's offended.
Looks like Book of Mormon premiere
Boohoo some teens in suits ruined your "moving going experience" to see fricking minions get over it gay
>immediately hears the word "offended" and thinks of politics
ngmi
THE

Never heard of this. Why would they want less money?...
There's absolutely no way it's real.
No theater anywhere is going to cancel screenings a billion dollar franchise because of some tiktok meme.
>Why would they want less money?..
It's costing them even more money to show it with these gays setting fires and starting fights
why not just prevent them from watching the movie? It's better to just let kids and their parents watch the movie instead of no one at all
>why not just prevent them from watching the movie?
Isn't that what OPs post is all about
>Implying Dante making 5 bucks a hour is going to do shit to stop destruction of theater.
Cops would probably just come in and shoot him if he tried.
Dante making 5 bucks a hour is going to do shit to stop destruction of theater.
I mean yeah, he wasn't even supposed to be there today
How many times that actually happened?
There has been multiple reports of refunds, riots and even police getting involved over the meme.
gib source at least
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-guernsey-62034821
You said there has ben "Multiple" reports; Setting fires, fights, riots and police getting involved. Nothing in that article mentions that.
we don't want a mass panic, its the same reason serial killers don't get media attention anymore
>white kids in suits cause mass panic
>racial profiling is okay when. I do it
>white kids in suits
Looks like a perfectly diverse group of gentlemen to me
Please, rationalizing white victimhood with Cinemaphile media is all I have left. Let me have this.
Every who makes friends with white people are white sympathizers
Why is it the ESL hispanics who bat for white people?
Not for ehite, but against racism in general.
Honestly, they remind me of Alex and his droogs from "A Clockwork Orange".
So when does the ultraviolence start?
Damn. Whites suck at picking suits uh?
The blonde with the resting b***hface has it alright.
But yeah, it kind of reeks of kids raiding their parents closets. Someone should leave some Men's Wearhouse coupons in the theaters or something.
>Whites suck at picking suits uh?
It's easy for blacks to have nice suits when the funeral home is the one picking it for them
Cope
Kek
Cringe
9/10 those kids don't hace money to get their own, blacks grow faster so they can fill up their dad's suit better.
the ones with a cross and suspenders look the best. hat guy is also good but i dont like the shoes or the fitting of the pants
That’s what the average /misc/ meetup looks like though.
No. That pic is still too white.
where that homie legs though
They don't?
>You said there has ben "Multiple" reports
That's just one of them.
I'm not gonna give you every single article. Look it up yourself.
>Setting fires, fights, riots
I didn't mention any of that.
>police getting involved
This one is true.
>Nothing in that article mentions that.
It does mention other stuff i brought up such as the disturbances.

they should have special "gentleminions" screenings with a requirement to be in a suit to enter
The 14-16 year olds will love it
Someone on The Guardian suggested that too.
https://www.theguardian.com/film/2022/jul/05/teens-disrupting-minions-screenings-gentleminions-despicable-me-rise-of-gru
That guy saw the whole meme as a positive phenomenon. He argued that doing special Gentleminions screenings might give a chance to do something interesting and bring the audiences back to theaters after Covid.
>one theater cancels movie, probably due to unrelated reasons
>this must mean that screenings everywhere are being canceled attributed to this one thing we assume it was
News today is a joke.
Your mental health isn't though. Take your meds, you schizo
There's been a few at least. These morons are something the theaters don't want to have to deal with.
>minions is doing so well theaters can pick and choose customers
Disney wishes it had that kind of success.
People are mad that 13-17 year olds who were little kids when the 1st minion movie came out are viral memeing. Not a big deal. Just another layer of Minion irony memes
>still wearing masks
Some places still force them
you realize the more you are upset about it the more it becomes a positive fashion choice right?
Gotta admit, it's better than wearing their pants around their knees and other "gangsta" crap.
No sane person ever said that demographic had any fashion sense. Hence why they wore fat people clothes and tall people clothes for quite some time.
Mask wearing is common amongst the Asian populace and that's even before covid. They don't see it as a politically charged, existential crisis-instilling muzzle like Americans do.
They also do it by choice and weren't for a while being told to wear it or be unable to function in society for about a year.
>Abloobloo! I couldn’t go to the cookout with Cletus and Meema for a single year! This is like 1984, not that I ever read no big city books before, on account o’ anythin’ but the bible ain’t worth a coores light and a nascar ticket no sir!
Yes they were you moron.
I like it
Those are Asians, they've been wearing masks in public wayyy before the kung flu.
I'm not getting covid or the flu ever again b***h, I'll wear a mask forever
Make sure to wear an N95 so the microplastics fill your lungs
You are more likely to get Microplastics from drinking water or soda or beer from a bottle.
You're drinking sodas 12 hours a day amerilard?
You're inhaling much more wearing that n95 24/7
>drinking water
>
I ignored that purposefully because if you don't have clean water or a filter you're probably on the lower end of intelligence
I gave you the benefit of the doubt my mistake
tfw to dumb too replace your citie's water supply
They're also causing damage to the theaters because they're 13-17 year old idiots and large numbers.
>ITS OKAY WHEN MCUgayS DO IT THOUGH
When did that happen? Morbius was just memes, no one actually went to see it.
Didn’t see Morbius, but every time I went to see a Marvel movie the audience was absolutely insufferable and screamed whenever something mildly exciting happened
>He thinks he's talking about Morbius when he said MCU
Antiminiongaybros...
based.
Finally payback for the singles-surcharge I was paying for the last 20 years.
I wish I had friends that would do shit like this as a teen
Why are so many of them asian?
Yellow representation.
>Make babbling nonsensical cartoon goofballs for coddled generation
>Diagnose them with every letter of the alphabet, get them started on prescription meds in kindergarten
>They grow up chemically moronic and without any sense of self-awareness or irony.
>Make new movie about their goofball toonies
Really it's not terribly surprising.
Eh, don't really see the difference between this and chanology, kiids just wanna meme it up
Can't wait for this generation to inherit the country.
younger zoomers and gen alpha won't inherit jack shit at the rate we're going
This country is currently managed by a generation whose parents didn't raise them and had high amounts of lead in their gas, paint, water supply and pretty much everything else relevant while they grew up lmao.
Americans are strange (behave strange, react strange) because they learn how to behave from tv and movies, not from their parents or society.
How is "people showing up to a cinema in suits and dresses" unmanageable?
it's not the attire, it's the fact large groups of people in that attire are crowding the cinema and causing disruptions to people not trying to meme for a tiktok video
I swear most of you morons have not only never worked a service industry job but also have no clue how human interactions work
>service industry
Not our fault you're a poorgay with no ambition.
I haven't worked a service job in like 15 years, but working one at least gives you some respect for employees to not do dumb shit that actually affects their jobs or give them more shit to deal with
This is the real reason parents should push their teenagers to get jobs. Not so much so they have their own money, but so they grow up to have empathy for people in those shitty jobs.
>have empathy for people
Not my problem.
>yell during a movie, maybe throw some popcorn at most
>noooooooooooooo the poor workers !!!!
we should all just go into the pod and die or what
Empathy is a meme.
You won't says this shit irl
Of course I would
>Wagie can't speak properly.
Like pottery
>lol service jobs aren't real jobs lmao get a read job
>WTF WHY IS NO ONE WORKING IN GROCERY STORES! I CAN'T GET MY HECKIN' GROVERIESARINOS AND THE SHELVES ARE EMPTY AHHHH NO ONE WANTS TO WORK!!!
For just a small tenfold increase of pay service jobs would never have trouble hiring people ever again
They will never do that too cuz they have monopolized the shit so much they can fight it till the end, go bankrupt and the government will bail them out because they're "too big to fail" and their lobbies have congress by the balls.
t. an butthole
t. wagie
You have obviously never worked a service job.
Aren’t all jobs service industries?

Now what if I wanna go see Lightyear in a suit?
Just get an e-thot to go with you.
She cute
Do you think they….?
She's a prostitute and he's e-famous. Of course they did.
I would pay to find out
Why are they getting triggered over suits? Is there more to the story?
Why contain it?
This, it's a tiktok meme and will die out in a couple of weeks, banning is just gonna streissand it up
This. I didn't know it was a thing until this thread. Imagine all the normie zoomers that are going to read articles about this and want to join in on da epic maymay
Or it'll be what will destroy tiktok meme culture.
Wishful thinking
good
>doesn’t remember the devious lick epidemic
If schools being terrorized and trashed by literal pre-teens didn’t stop tiktok meme culture nothing will
>devious lick epidemic
Oh that shit was funny as frick. I think I'll go watch some youtube vids on it for a bit. Thanks for reminding me, anon.
Sometimes I regret growing up in the 90s-20s and missing a lot of the more fun seeming internet culture stuff
>In March 2022, The Washington Post revealed that the devious lick challenge was utilized as part of an orchestrated campaign by Meta Platforms and Republican consulting firm Targeted Victory to damage TikTok's public reputation.
This shit goes deep
Republicans really are just laughably evil
More fun? That's debatable. Original internet culture (=board culture) used to be all about making original content, even if it was shitty MS Paint comics it still became so iconic lots of it is still used today. Zoomers can't really create anything.
>Zoomers can't really create anything.
I wonder when this meme will die.
When zoomers actually create something.
Wasn't the tide pod thing a Tiktok meme?
That was way worse
S'cool.
Contain it violently. Shoot any teenaged boy that enters the theater in a suit. Let it all burn.
This is great.
People need to learn the consequences of mixing online memes with reality.
America being weird again.
Is this your brain when all ayou do if feed yourself with uber ironic Family Guy, Morbius, Pickle Rick and Discord memes? We can't have any fricking discussiom about anything anymore
No shit, just like how hypercontrarianism rules every topic on Cinemaphile these days
>memes surrounding content becoming more than just Cinemaphile shitposting
Yes. moron meme culture is catchy in the normie sphere, it was never special, it just took internet culture acclimation.
>Funding Illumination because memes
Frick meme culture and frick the mongoloids who eat it up.
This. Making Morbius a meme was one thing, but Illumination being propped up in any way, meme or not, isn't deserved.
>b-but muh black lesbians
https://abc13.com/black-panther-blackpantheroutfits-wakanda-marvel/3100096/
So where were the theater closures when this happened? Why the blatant double standard ? What's really going on?
Those people weren't attacking kids
Lefties fear the white collective since they know it's strong
>people in suits flash mob movie and are disruptive and throw shit
>ban suits
It's not about black or white culture.
Which is why the white collective fears the minority?
Bendis must be so jealous that the fat white guy is considered black.
it's got nothing to do with race and everything to do with age, moron. teenage boys are destructive, this is not rocket science or anything new.
They weren't causing disturbances.
Why do black grannies make me so happy?
Because these guys aren't fricking teenagers screaming at the movie because their brains have been poisoned by internet irony.
Because they're trying to destroy White Boy Summer
Because they were actually watching the movie and not causing a scene
>ignoring the property damage and physical harm to patrons
Speak of the devil.
Why are post-2016 posters such massive schizos?
I gotta admit dumb teens vandalizing movie theaters over an even dumber meme is pretty funny
>Discussion turns it into a race thing
Is this mental illness?
That's how it goes for the modern internet
It's all a grand conspiracy by disney don't you know? they want those theatres destroyed so people will watch lightyear instead
Close, It's America.
No it's the year 2013 + 9
Do americans really...
OOOH SAY CAN YOU SEEEEEE
This site is overrun by Americans, is there really any explanation other than m(urica)ental illness?
what?
>jogger
Say Black person you fricking coward
can’t save that filename on the computer, mommy might see it
The right really can't meme
Black folk
No just Americans
Don’t matter it sleazy grabbed the international market, the movie is really just decent, but has all the kids love, so they success, at the end illumination just care about making safe movies that make money
Gen-Z is truly the worst generation outside of baby boomers.
Godspeed these people
>Fricking Joker provided less trouble to Cinemas then minions: rise of Gru
What a timeline
are you all seriously arguing about fricking despicable me minions
No, we're arguing about the bizarre trend of attending Minions 2 screenings in a full suit and then behaving like a barbarian
Simple, the kids that were 5-7 years old when the first Despicable Me came out are now the teens doing this.
Yes, Minions and suits are all that's left to define white culture.
They really, truly are that mind broken.
I'll be honest, I'm here for the entertainment value of it all
i hate teenagers so much it's unreal
SHUT IT DOWN
>We Got This Covered
So it's fake news then?
When post-ironic culture and teenage lack of empathy collide
>anon's equally torn between this being an attack on white culture and zoomers deserving the rope
I wonder if the anti-SJW youtubers who presented watching Minions as a right wing thing to own Lightyear (which leftists don't actually like or care about) will have the balls to addeess this, lmao
least insecure Disney shill
I'm not a shill, Lightyear sucks balls and Disney is a terrible company that panders to minority groups for good boy points because they can't make anything good to save their lifes anymore
I just dislike sensational politics-touting hacks
so why do you hate the "anti-SJWs" that oppose such things?
because disliking animated pandering doesn't mean you have to support a white ethnostate, you reactionary homosexual. letting media concerns radicalize you is the most idiotic shit.
>because disliking animated pandering doesn't mean you have to support a white ethnostate
Who said it does, you troony moron?
you left the most important part of my sentence out of your greentext buddy
>adults scream and shart during a MCU/Star Wars movie
😀
>kids scream and start during a literal kids movie
D:<
Time is a flat circle, people just don’t know when it’s their turn.
But what if it happened to me when I was a teenager a decade ago?
But MCU movies are actually good and it's natural. Rise of Gru is a forced meme
>When I have fun it's real
>When you have fun it's forced
MCU man babies, everyone.
>MCU movies are actually good
>illumination bad!
>pozzed mind-numbingly boring Pixar shit good!
this is how stupid you sound
MCU movies have designated clap points where the npcs can make noises
Minions was not designed for wild gibbons in suits yelling at it
Literally 1984 shit
A bunch of fricking morons are doing stupid shit for a meme, this is a movie for children, so of course they want to stop this shit
The biggest issue is reports of them throwing bananas around, including at the screen which damages it.
>Children show up and do a funny thing at a children's movie
Woah no way
Don't you have an mcu film to soiface about you lard ass
>this is a movie for children
don't make me say it
This feels exactly like a Cinemaphile meetup to me so I dont' get the anger over it.
This is just banning white people from the cinema. Disgusting segregation
> "Gentleminions"
> Posts image of a minion holding a bunch of bananas
Did they actually use an ancient Simpsons /Team Fortress 2 meme of the Spy with a shitton of cigarettes in his mouth, except as a minion with a bunch of bananas, and i would assume a number of dumbass children tried to mimmick what they saw and choked and died?
> ~~*certain people*~~ are offended that a bunch of white guys decided to wear suits to the theaters
Seriously?
>i would assume a number of dumbass children tried to mimmick what they saw and choked and died?
Oh frick off you dumb clickbait reading boomer.
Ok, so who started this whole "Getting dressed to see Rise of Gru with the lads" meme? You can not convince me it was a plant
Israeli Tik Tok teens
Universal ripped off an older joke and paid some tiktok gays to make it seem natural
Wait
>Minions Rise of Gru is removed from theaters due to memers
>That piece of shit Lightyear makes more money due to it's absence
FRICK
this might mean that disney paid theatres to cancel all showings of Arabian knight and The Thief and the Cobbler in the 90s
A Woody movie probably would have been a way better choice to make a 'inspired by the inspiration' or whatever movie over
That's not entirely true. People DO love Buzz LIghtyear. More specifically the one who thinks he's a space ranger.
Biggest mistake the movie did was make their recognizable character act NOTHING like he's meant to act.
I dunno dude, I'm a zoomer and the day minecraft dies is the day i go with it.
>We aren't like millenials and their childish obsession with childhood icons
>We're only consooming the new minions movie ironically
Zoomers combine the consoomerist mentality of millenials with the self-righteous hypocrisy of generation x.
I'm starting to think this culture war is moronic.
I dont understand whats supposed to be cringe about this
you guys never go to bad movies just to shit on them with your friends ? ive seen the emoji movie in cinemas and was legitimately pissing myself thanks to my company
we have a world thats designed to bring us apart, so many people are living alone in a one room apartment and here we have something that brings people together, theres not many pleasures greater then chimping out over nonsense with a group of likeminded people
Who goes to a cinema to shite on a movie with friends unless is a cult/mid night showing. You can't talk during a movie
>You can't talk during a movie
you can whisper and snicker all you want, of course your still gonna annoy like 2-3 seat radius around you but who gives a shit, cinemas are usually half empty all the time anyway
>not cracking jokes with the boys over a movie
>not sneaking in drinks during said jokes, while you shitpost about what line of coke the director was on.
Dude you gotta try it some time, it's fricking great.
>You can't talk during a movie

Anyone got a mega?
Sounds like the media is fearing the amount of testosterone.
Same thing happened back when "Snakes on a Plane" came out and people went to see it wearing afros, suits and doing swastikas. Zoomers didn't invent being cringe irl.
The picture is from Finland. One of them (in the middle?) is a girl dressed up as Suiseiseki
If I remember right, Finns started it, but it happened all over world with the movie screenings.
I don't see anything wrong with doing public display like that, the minion morons are purposely breaking shit and ruining moments other people paid for.
What does the Habbo Hotel troll got to do with Snakes on a Plane?
When Snakes on a Plane became a cult film on Cinemaphile, people started arranging screenings where they dressed up as Habbo trolls and yelled memes. I think it was around 2007 or 2008. Not much photo material is left from those times since people didn't use to film themselves all the time like a bunch of morons.
/co/gays have been embarrassing lately
>movie broke records revenue
>let's have a controversy now to make the title viral worldwive
who need good stories when your marketing team is full of geniuses
Disney thought the same but right now was not the right time to push lesbians and the movie sucked.
Boring middle class weirdos looking for a bit of attention, they should be embarrassed and realize how to be a man
Just like with the pony show, at some point some of these guys will start doing it ironically.
*unironically
That will only affect and ruin smaller theater owners. I still remember that clip of an angry movie theater's owner ripping apart a Mulan display after the movie was moved to Disney+ because of the pandemic.
Oh wait. Maybe that's the plan all along. In fact, forget the "maybe"; it is indeed The Plan.
Glad I've been to Japan where I don't have to deal with this nonsense. Everyone's too busy to bother with being rude to others (rudeness includes not fitting the norm, so yay!).
>I f
very readable
they legit just dont want white men to have fun.
If the white man's idea of having "fun" is acting like a Black person then I understand why.
>Wearing a nice suit is acting like a Black person
I think you have that a little backwards
Maiiiiiiiiiniooooon
We live in a world where the Minions movie might make Hollywood understand that animated kid isn't only for kids.
guys I think I got ripped off where are the gentleminions? I can't find them?
Where are those gentleminions!
