While, this is fact, it is also misleading.
The movies were better than 90% of Hollywood's junk made the beginning until now.
You have to remember that Hollywood has always been creating shit. Just the shit they created in the past was overwhelmed by the things that actually sold.
With the all importance of the ~~*Message*~~ now the shit is being pushed to the front.
Eh, I'll give you that they're better than the Disney trilogy but that don't mean they're necessarily good. Episode III is pretty enjoyable overall. Episode I and II are both way too slow and only have small enjoyable portions of the movies. Episode I has the lightsaber fight at the end and Episode II has the Battle of Genosis.
Look, we know you are buttmad that the nu-wars movies were huge turds but you really should stop acting like the prequels were bad when you never saw them.
3 is a masterpiece, 1 and 2 are solid space adventures with political intrigue and fantastic visuals. Also all are better than Dunc 1 and 2. Also Hayden makes a slightly more convincing space dictator than the twink.
Anakin to me just never seemed heroic at all. It's more like he was always just a profoundly disturbed man everyone knew was a bad idea and nobody even seems to have any faith in him except his wife.
The Plinkett Reviews gaslit people into thinking they hated it.
If the prequels were universally reviled then Stoklasa would not have needed to make the reviews. People will not sit through hours of analysis on things they genuinely hate. The sequels are universally reviled and no one talks about them at all. Making Plinkett reviews about the sequels is unnecessary because they are genuinely hated.
>If the prequels were universally reviled then Stoklasa would not have needed to make the reviews
You have completely backwards logic. If the prequels were universally loved then the reviews never would have gotten popular in the first place. >People will not sit through hours of analysis on things they genuinely hate.
Of course they fricking will. Have you never been to Youtube before? >Making Plinkett reviews about the sequels is unnecessary because they are genuinely hated.
He made reviews for two of the three sequels, stupid.
He did make reviews for two of the sequels but they clearly hated TROS so deeply they couldn't even manage. Jay seemed totally at a loss after TLJ, he was genuinely exasperated by it.
If you need 12 hours (more than the runtime of all three films) to defend this trilogy you're really desperate. Watch the Plinkett review instead, he explains why these movies in particular are well understood disasterpieces in under six hours.
It is a good movie, I didn't hate it. Imo it's also how they should've done them all, it made 1 billion and a lot of people liked the dramatic stakes of it. It doesn't even seem like it or Andor takes place in the same universe as the sequels.
>Only memorable scene is twenty seconds of Darth Vader being incompetent to cool music >Rebel soldier extras act better than the top billed cast
Shit's embarrassing yo
You genuinely believe that a Star Wars trilogy created by modern Disney could've been good if not for some random reviews of the prequels? Genuinely delusional.
>Episode III
The deleted scenes really enhance the experience even more. The whole Obiwan cuck plotline added so much more context to how Anakin reacted at the end. I always felt weirded out that he just flipped so instantly.
Maybe if you've only watched capeshit and slop

How did the fat man ruin everyone's opinion of these movies?
Look I was 10 when Phantom Menace came out too but that doesn’t mean they’re good movies.
Look, we know you are buttmad that the nu-wars movies were huge turds but you really should stop acting like the prequels were bad when you never saw them.
Both trilogies are bad.
You should stop acting like they're good because you were born in 2010
Rots is the only good movie

Anakin is a poor man's Paul
>t. from a dimension where Dunc is as good as the book Dune
greetings, far away traveler
Yeah, the actual adaptation of Paul is better than George Lucas's sad attempt at creating a knockoff Paul.
I could see that, if you judge a character purely by their bussy popping abilities.
Anakin to me just never seemed heroic at all. It's more like he was always just a profoundly disturbed man everyone knew was a bad idea and nobody even seems to have any faith in him except his wife.

I watched the 12 hour Bread Circus analysis on youtube and it made me respect the prequels more. They are more well-thought out than I realized.

lmfao get shit on dickriding clown homosexual
Nah, they're still shit.
The only good movie after original trilogy and personally my favorite of them all.

Mike is responsible for the sequel trilogy sucking
