So we've all seen the pretty damn good looking concept art for Victor and Valentino
Do you think somewhere out there is a set of drawings depicting these characters that actually look good and somehow got turned into potato city halfway through production?

      Speaking of which...

Oh yeah I remember that, people somehow confused that a guy who only spent around 8 years in mexico and was then raised by his japanese grandparents has lost his accent by age 16. Hell if you work with second generations kids many will lose their native language by their teens if living in the US because their parents speaking it isn't enough to keep up on it. In Chads case he is being raised in japan by japanese grandparents and probably has had little reason to speak spanish in years.

The worst part about Primos is that none of the characters look like they are related to each other, Half of them are mestizos, one is obviously a black chick, three are European looking. Is it implying that their mother slept with multiple men?

It would be easier to have a two parent, three child cast instead

This is a dumb complaint, there are many latino families where the children look vastly different from eachother. Latinos are already very mixed so it's not uncommon for a few of the siblings to look like completely different races.

        Anonymous

There’s a difference between one sibling being paler than the other and one being of an entirely different race. How many families can you name that had a ginger son and a black daughter biologically? Unless they were fraternal twins. It’s very very rare. It’s impossible when done 5 to 6 times.

The vast majority of Hispanics have Spanish or Portuguese DNA, countries where blond hair people or redheads aren’t all that common.

It’s just a way to have forced diversity. You can for sure have light skinned and brown in the same family but to have a white brown and black Hispanic from the same parents? Nah

I wish I could refute this, but it's possible. I have a cousin that the Indians would call "She-Who-is-Easy"; She has slept with a frickton of guys and had like, ten or thirteen kids none of which look like the other. One set got taken away from her because the father proved he payed for everything and that she was an unfit mother.

Mexico is Lowkey in a state of emergency for the longest with the cartels running everything. Their people need to get it together and overrun their corrupt government who bend at the knee to criminals. It’s honestly sad as frick

      >American conservatives, but speak Spanish

This. Mexicans tend to be conservative. (If they're legal) even if they got here illegally the good ones try to become citizens and contribute to society. I’ve also been friends with first/second generation Mexican Americans who act like they’re illegal and don’t appropriate the rights and privileges they have as US citizens. Right now there’s tons of shit thrown at the Venezuelans that were brought in to major cities who don’t want to work but want free housing. Since so Most people just associate any brown Hispanic with being a Mexican it makes them look bad

Oh please, you're not special. Every government on Earth bends the knee to criminals. It's just that most of the time, the criminals are wearing three piece suits.

What? Bruh cartels would steal girls from small towns and the cops would do nothing because they were paid off. The people had to come together to fight them off. They beheaded a lady who was exposing the cartels and their crimes and posted it on her own twitter to send a message. A lady who was tired of the news outlets and police turning a blind eye at what was going on. Does the US have issues? Sure but it’s not like this.

Alright real question looking at this image, and accounting for the potato feet, noodle limb bean mouth artstyle, why is the little white girl the only one not drawn visibly deformed in some way. Like you can make a case for the older kids I guess as well, since one just has a giant nose and freakish knees while the black girl just has either nose rings or traces of the same weird mangled nose thing a lot of the others do, but the little plush toy in glasses is basically devoid of malformities in such an obvious way that she looks like she came out of an entirely different show.

Mexican Spanish is pretty much the equivalent of speaking jive: it's based is Spanish, but over the years it mixed in slang,Aztec,French because of that frick Maximilian, maybe even Chinese somehow, along with a whole bunch of snippets from everywhere else. Mexico was the true version of a "melting pot" before years of corrupt/incompetent governance ruined the country.
