Your phrase was phrased weird. I didn't catch your comparison at first , my bad.
Futurama coasted on its own success much like The Simpsons did, though. AD has never stopped trying.
Insane guy x Insane girl is always a good pair. Also helps that whenever they get into arguments it's more comedic and non-serious. Like Stan and Franny never have Peter and Lois-tier yelling/fighting or Homer and Marge-styled "This person is literally perfect and better than my husband/wife, should I cheat on them?" episodes.
She is an actual character. She can be a bawd, a b***h, a naive mother, a psychopath. She knows she is pretty and sexy. Somehow all of that is part of who she is in a credible way. It is unusual in comedy shows to have a character like that.
For example Marge Simpson can be a naive mother and be annoyed or angry from time to time. And that is it. As a character she is boring.
>You better be good, boys and girls, or I'll beat you until blood's coming from your ears and your eyes and your mouth.
Merry Christmas! >And from your ass.
For how chaotic Stan and Francine are, Greg and Terry are a lot worse once you piece together their relationship after the episode where Roger pretended to be their son.
Terry planned to kill Roger over cheap snack food, even when Roger was planning on killing Terry because he thought Greg and Terry were both 100% fancy and boujee when they weren't. Also the fact they only wanted another child to begin with so it can complement their classy furniture and the surrogate daughter could only speak French. The gay republican episode also showed that they were in different political sides, not to mention they were going to break up over house renovations in the same episode as
That’s because they’re
Stan and Franny, and they go together Like ke-ding-a-de-dinga-dong

, with one of them sperging out over Stan and Francine singing Grease again and the other acknowledging it to be a reoccuring issue.
I mean it's supposed to be left to the viewer, but everything that dude did in that episode haley has done throughout the series. Theres no way Haley is stans kid.
It's not even close either, that Hershey park episode is amazing.
How the frick did American Dad ended up being the better adult sitcom?
Same reason Futurama, and It's always Sunny are good: creative people given elevated freedom.
>Same reason as Futu-
Nope, no. Futurama goes horrible past season 3.
Irrelevant.
Futurama was always better than same-era Simpson for the reason given.

Sunny hasn't been good in like 8 years
>It's always Sunny
>currently good
It has been nothing but a steady paycheck for years now.
A lot of their best episodes were more recent, like Waterpark AIDs. Ireland season was trash though
The point isn't that it's always good, it's that when it's good, it's because FXX can be more lax than a broadcast network.
American Dad had more bad than good episodes in the last 2 seasons

Plus they both could beat up anyone.

Quick post your favorite American Dad line or moment
>YOU ARE MY QUEEN REBECCA
Jenny.
>You better be good, boys and girls, or I'll beat you until blood's coming from your ears and your eyes and your mouth.
Merry Christmas!
>And from your ass.
>Do you have any Gatorade, I seem to have left all of mine in your daughter.
No they don't.
Stan is a terrible partner to Francine.
Have they ever done an episode showing how Stan and Francine got together?
For how chaotic Stan and Francine are, Greg and Terry are a lot worse once you piece together their relationship after the episode where Roger pretended to be their son.
Explain, I saw the episode and it seemed to me like a boring day for them.
Terry planned to kill Roger over cheap snack food, even when Roger was planning on killing Terry because he thought Greg and Terry were both 100% fancy and boujee when they weren't. Yeah, the one where she cucked him

>and that goes great with my huge vaginny-gin
Francine cheats on Stan and Hailey is canonically another man’s daughter.
I mean it's supposed to be left to the viewer, but everything that dude did in that episode haley has done throughout the series. Theres no way Haley is stans kid.
Also Hailey’s future son looks 100% like him.
Fricking knew he looked familiar!
Weird because the point of the original episode was about leaving it ambiguous but yeah she clearly is his daughter now
Steve is probably another man’s son too
He is 100% Stans kid. Maybe.
>BERRY BERRY BERRY
What about Morticia and Gomez Addams?
Doesn’t she want to frick their son?
