>Has one of the shortest Average shot lengths (ASL) of any modern narrative production at 1.8 seconds. This means there is a cut almost every 2 seconds.
zoomer shit for adhd brains. I hated it.
Have you ever actually watched this? It's not very good. A few decent sets, but the narrative doesn't work and the cinematography is shit most of the time. It looks like a made-for-tv flick. The acting is atrociously bad, which is fun.
Not OP but it's a good movie, plays in its own league, can't compare it to The Matrix although the themes are similar. The sets are really well made. The narrative I found clever and engrossing. Cinematrography is alright given the type of production. It absolutely does not have a TV feel, the sets maybe give it an aged look but that's part of the charm for me. The movie defeinitely punches above its weight.
Agree to disagree. You can compare La Cité des Enfants Perdus (1995) or 12 Monkeys (1995). They're all very similar visually and thematically. I just don't think it's very good comparatively. Glad you enjoy it though.
>mogs
have a nice day.
Ok sorry dickhead
>is more kino then the matrix and hellraiser
i was it recently and i thought it was corny
>was
Did you just write saw backwards? Are you okay anon?
The most antisemitic movie ever released
>guys guys Ive just seen this movie movie you've probably never even heard of
>it's dark city every time
It's good and I'm sure it looks spectacular in 4K. It also has prime conelly
Any recent movies that are as imaginative as dark city? Without irony I can only think about Tenet even though it sucks
The 13th floor
mad god
sorry, Cinemaphile. meant to post picrel
This movie was so moronic that I couldn't help but love it.
I got this movie mixed up with Darkman, was pretty funny when it happened, the fellas and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
>dad can you pick up lucky number Slevin!
>sure son
This except the opposite happened. My friends were disappointed but I enjoyed lucky number slevin. It’s underrated kino
>It’s underrated kino
Its not amazing but its kind of fun and entertaining

>Richard O'Brien not on the poster
This is why this film went under the radar
Only seen the part where Jennifer Connelly sings.
it's massively overrated by contrarians, doesn't even come close to matrix
>yes the matrix copied it a year later but it’s BETTER because trannies made it

All deliberate. You just don't get it. The aliens are unnatural by design and the humans are disturbed from the switching.
>when the mumbojumbo starts to play
It really doesn't. Both Crow and Dark city is just gritty straight to VHS category
Haven't seen it. Is it a Proto Matrix or something?
