My theory is she was always supposed to be introduced a few episodes in. Hopefully if that's the case, the show picks up and gets more attention because of it.

I think he always intended to bring the girl eventually considering he had her current design as a sort of mascot for his tablet reviews shortly before the pilot was finished.

Isn't most of Monkey Wrench done by him outside of music and voices? That proves the opposite. Zeurel can totally make a project this ambitious. All he's lacking is funds and fandom support. His work ethic and frequency of output is incredible. Makes Happy Harry look like a joke.
