Does it have a shot at being fun at least?

Virtually nobody will see it and those that do will trash it.
It will fall into the Morbius, Madam Web, Eternals category of bad.
>nobody will see it and those that do will trash it.
This.
Shitkino is back on the menu
I will krave all over the place.
Who comes up with these movies? Seriously, no one cares about anything Kraven but The Last Hunt, no one ever cared about Morbius and Madame Web has zero fans.
I'm actually excited about what the next Sony project will be? Likely Venom 3, but I'll crack up if they do a Greem Goblin or Lizard solo film next.
As of now Venom is coming out this year bud. Although me personally I expect it to get pushed back since it's looking like the final one of these spider-man spinoffs
What is Venom 3 even about? After Carnage, his shit is pretty worthless.
Also, I don't think it gets pushed. I think there's a stigma now, that when a film gets pushed back, regardless of the reason, fans immediately assume it's shit. That's a dangerous game to play.
They’re going to work towards Agent Venom where he becomes basically a space cop.
>Agent Venom
Gonna sound weird, but I thought that was Flash Thompson?
It is. But do you think they care about accuracy?
So they're going to get flash thompson in on this? Hopefully it's this gigachad
Furthermore, with only Deadpool 3 coming out, Venom has zero capeshit competition. Releasing it this year is the right move.
>Venom 3 releasing two weeks before Gladiator 2
I guess Scott hasn't been a huge pull since The Martian, but I think Sony might be underestimating it. I sure hope Venom makes his money quick.
Why? Do you have sony stock?
There's no actual concern in anon's post. I think he's just saying Venom might be fricked so they better hope for a huge opening weekend (front loaded).
huh? Why would you say that?
Idk. I just can't see somebody worried about how Sony does. Marvel vs DC has it's cucks, sure, but Sony? Who gives a frick!
I said Venom, not Sony. I like the character and Tom Hardy, so I hope it does well, particularly under the assumption this sequel will be better than its predecessor. Sony is an unnecessary evil in this context and wish they'd get their ass blaster, but at the same time I don't see a whole lot of their influence in either Venom film.
All Sony movies have been kino 2003 superhero films and I'm tired of pretending they're not.
dead in the water
I heard it had awful test screenings.
He seems genuinely taken with the character. Especially since he gets to show off his muscles. But a Kraven standalone film? Take that gay shit outta town.
When will this genre fricking DIE ALREADY
Sony is trying their hardest to kill it.
Can somebody redpill me on Kraven? I know nothing about this character at all. I didn't even know he was a pretty famous Spider-Man villain until last year. What's the character generally like? Personality? Motivation? Etc...
wienery foreign guy. Loves hunting. Gets a thrill from hunting animals. Decides he wants to hunt..... the most dangerous animal of all.............. Man.
Not just any man.
....
.......
.....
SPIDER-man!(spider-man will not appear in this movie)
Captain America or Batman tier badass who's hunted every animal and decides to hunt Spider-Man instead. Most well known for, after decades of standard supervillainy, starring in the story Kraven's Last Hunt, in which he completely defeats Spider-Man, usurping his identity and burying him, and ultimately commits suicide.
Thrill of the hunt honestly. Spidey is the ultimate big game for him.
He’s actually part of one of Spider-Man’s best selling arcs. Read the comics, skip the movie.
All you have to do is the Samurai Jack episode with the hunters, but it's Kraven chasing spiderman, and you have the uber kino of the decade
But this is Sony.
They don't have the Spiderman IP, only the Spiderman universe IP.
So every movie will be shit, for every character they want to do, as they are forced to do an origin story every single time, instead of using a spiderman background and droping a terminator tier threat. They can't do that.
They are bound to do shit and start fresh every single time.
Or watch Batman Beyond. They have their own Kraven hunting Terry.
it has Christopher Abbott and he stars almost exclusively in at least good movies
he needs to fire his wife (agent)
>Kraven the Bug Hunter
Tom Rothman needs to stop
>Spiderman movie
>no spiderman
Of course not.
Hypno Hustler and El Muerto were the other ones they announced, but the lead actor dropped out of El Muerto and Donald Glover is probably going to drop out of Hypno Hustler.
Holy frick. Sony really was gonna do that?
I think after everyone saw Blue Beetle flop, they'd stop trying to pander to non-whites. Hell, even black people aren't excited for the new Blade. And it's fricking Blade!!!
Does he say "it's Kraven time"?
