most underrated movie ever
The actors hated it. Critics panned it. It's a near perfect blend of history and fantasy. Pacing, editing, acting, and script are all not bad.

I didn't see the first 12, can I jump right into this one?
I got something you can jump on
Alright post it then big man
It's awesome when you're like 12 years old.
Not enough gay Black folks for your taste?
What an odd thing to say.
AI post
He listened to what they had to say. And that's what no one did.
Only an Arab would give (you)'s to bait
>a dour norse beauty will never smear boiled-down cow's urine over the wounds you received from fighting with cavemen
Why even live?
This movie almost bankrupted the studio. No idea why it was panned. I remember renting it on DVD and being surprised how kino it is.
Because of the behinds the scenes drama with the first director
I think Chrighton had to take over as director after the first fought with the studio
It’s a good film but you can see the clashing cinematic styles and the unconnected plot threads. If either director had complete control it would have been kino
>Frick you I just want to make my own Seven Samurai.movie
Its adaptation of Beowulf my guy
Main dude in the movie is even called Buliwyf lol
>primitive tribe of literally cavemen
>yet they know horse riding and psychological terror tactics
How come?
Chimps can't even talk but they're already pretty good at the whole "psychological terror" thing, I don't see it as much of a stretch.
How about horse riding? That's quite advanced tech.
Not really, domesticating the horse as a species is hard, sitting on the horsey you stole and making it go isn't particularly hard intelligence wise, it just takes dexterity (which they have)
It's really not, people have been doing that for at least 7000 years, when the Spaniards introduced horses to America the natives took up riding almost immediatly.
I think you fail to understand how much smarter "cave" men would be than current primates. Especially in the context of surviving until fairly current times, given their origin.
Orangutan have learned how to spear fish.
Because
Neanderthal and pre agricultural homosexual sapians sapians had larger brain mass
Great history but horrible action
I cry everytiem
>the best Viking put to film is a Czech
>bait a guy into starting a fight so you can accomplish you goal
>slaughter him
>everyone is fine with this
These Black folk knew how to get shit done.
The movie didn’t make it obvious enough that the Grendel is Neanderthals eating people
They also ran out of money for the action scenes
>The thread is too heavy, I cannot bump it
>Bait stronger!
Cool film. Really irks me how they made the cannibals have a massive population though. Realistically that army would have starved out quickly.
why do cannibals have to "only" eat people?
>what were the cannibals tax policy?
