Youtube only started existing in 2005. Real Slim Shady came out in 2000. If Youtube had existed back then, Real Slim Shady would have way, way more views than Not Afraid. I absolutely loved Eminem when I was a teenager but almost all of his stuff sounds awful and juvenile to me now. Aside from some things from the early - mid 90s, 50 Cent and Kanye West just about all rap sounds like shit to me now.
That's what you get for listening to rap in the first place. I can stil listen to the same rock songs I listened to when I was a kid and not feel embarassed today.
My love for the boomer rock I listed to before getting into rap has just grown tenfold with age.
