>Film cuts to black >End credits >"I'm on Fire" cover keeps going >Stare at the screen for about 2 minutes >Randomly think about my late father all of a sudden >It's too much >Burst into tears >Cry for the rest of the duration of the end credits >Still miss my dad
Never stop Nic, never stop...
i recently found out who mine was and he told me to "leave him the frick alone, i dont know who you are you random son of a b***h". I wanted nothing from the man but acknowledgement.
I almost turned around and grabbed the pcv pipe (it was outside a home depot) and kocking him in with one shot to the jaw and then busting his knee cap because frick him, but i'm already on probation for a PI and aggravated assault. I don't want to end up in prison.
So glad i decided to go to the cinemas alone to watch this film, was pure kino and barely talked about on Cinemaphile until a torrent came out months later if i recall correctly.
A Scanner Darkly,
Memento although that was mentioned earlier in the thread,
The Prestige,
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,
Stardust (kinda romantic, highly recommend as a date movie),
Wonderland
Not a movie, but The Shield. I finished it 2 weeks ago and I still can't stop thinking about the final season.
absolutely based
It's legitimately amazing. Shit had me nearly crying.
Great show and great final season.

inside
One of my stepdads was like this, paranoid af and interrogated me everyday after he came home from work about my mom's supposed bf.
Literally same. This film just hits home in so many painful ways
For me it’s the sequence where they show all the footage of the brothers getting married
what is so wrong about fricking your daughter

I can only imagine how hard that must've been, but we're all gonna make it my fren.
I unironically would've went to jail for beating his ass.

I was thinking about it every day then read the book and it was in my head for several weeks. Beautiful film tbh.
Funny Games.
I wish my brother was more like me
What do you look like? Where are you anon? I could be your brother. We could spend a few months together and create shorthand for chaos
Parasite because Cinemaphile refuses to discuss that . movie
Where the duck can I discuss it
im a big fan of korean movies for 15+ years and that director too but having it shoved down my throat in all angles made me refuse to watch that movie
still havent seen it
>caring this much about what others think
you are mentally ill
This the one with the really graphic rape scene? Frickin hallway looks so familiar
Rocky and Braveheart
i was blown away how good it was
I wonder if Alejandro really did feel better after he got his revenge.

For some reason that quote has stuck with me.
