he was good in the movie, contrary to his role in The Irishman. That part when him and DiCaprio's character cry over the death of the daughter, even after all they did to his family was really good
I mostly only see praise for The Master and Inherent Vice.
Licorice Pizza on the other hand... Nonstop whining that the girl isn't hot so the film sucks even though it's one of the funniest films of the last ten years.
I keep forgetting it's been a decade since both of these came out
when the master came out everyone thought it was slow and pretentious, and when inherent vice came out every midwit came out of the woodwork saying it was impossible to follow >still butthurt 70mm The Master isn't in 4K yet
>Cinemaphile didn't like this because half the board didn't have the attention span to watch a 3.5 hr film and the other half got triggered that it was a story about how some white people murdered native americans
Christ how far this board has fallen
homie The Irishman is longer and blows this movie out of the water. The problem with Flower Moon isn't the run time, it's how fricking repetitive it is. Also every scene is 3 times longer than it should. Marty is too old, it's over.
Even funnier are the threads of the autists that paid attention throughout the entire movie but are unable to grasp integral subtleties that are barely subtle to normal people
Three of the best films in years, marking the return to form for 3 of the best directors of the 00s, and they were all shit on by the underage homosexuals here. >Killers of the Flower Moon >The Killer >Napoleon
This board is beyond saving.
I'm generally confused on the hate Napoleon gets. Ridley himself said that the true version of the film is the dc, you're not getting the full picture watching the theatrical version just like for KoH, which he regretted yet people are acting like fricking baboon moronic chimps about it.
It's really easy to understand when you realise that this board is overrun with midwits who were raised on overly saturated capeshit and think old=good.
Surface level generic criticisms (like complaining that the image is desaturated just like their favourite youtuber pointed out) are enough to make them feel smart as they hate on whatever.
Reminder: the majority of dipshits here genuinely thought Oppenheimer was a good film
what the frick are people supposed to do? go see the movie in theater but withold judgement until the director's cut is released months or a year later?

imagine defending soulless desaturated cinematography in 2024
Ridley Scott is an enormously annoying boomer homosexual, his responses to criticism just make him look that much worse. Most people don't see any reason to give the movie the benefit of the doubt, it's a horribly portrayed set of lies as it is and everyone can see what an out of touch talentless ego-driven butthole Ridley Scott is.
Watched it last week finally.
Terrible as a movie. Nothing really happens and there isn’t much context given so you need to know Christen shit to get it.
Did make me laugh when he quoted that System of a down song at the end though.
Everything I posted in my previous post was serious. It really is a terrible film without merit that I would actively advise people not to watch. A slog with no pay off except that funny System lyrics bit of course
My only question is where does he keep getting the funds to continue making movies? The last few films (including this one) were all flops financially.
Dutch realism naval combat with chud De Ruyter. The world fears the dutch on the sea. Realistically done, pulls you in, tactical ship combat very comfy
What's there to be filtered by? Scorsese could have made a compelling murder mystery based off of a real story, but instead to make it a WHITE MAN BAD narrative where you follow a moron the majority of the time.
And you're a dumb fricking c**t if you don't understand things like creative liberties. The fricking POV is from the killers when it doesn't have to be. It could've been from the Osage tribe or Jesse Plemons character, but Scorsese wants it to be a white guilt narrative where you the white viewer are supposed to feel culpable for the murders and racism against natives. It's moronic.
So your "criticism" amounts to just being mad that Scorsese accurately depicted a historical event where white people were not innocent dindus and did some pretty heinous shit. I know you haven't watched the movie because if you did you would know how the movie highlighted the family's israeli freemason roots.
for frick's sake Marty stop casting De Niro in fricking everything, I'm sick of looking at that old has-been piece of shit
he was good in the movie, contrary to his role in The Irishman. That part when him and DiCaprio's character cry over the death of the daughter, even after all they did to his family was really good
this and the master are the two best films I've ever seen in a theater and you homosexuals hate both of them
>The Master is the best film I've ever seen
Sorry

It's time to retire, Marty

also DiCaprio can't carry a 3.5 hour movie. He's not that talented
The store beatdown scene in The Irishman proves Scorsese is senile and being taken advantage of. Thats the only way he could have approved that shot.
Even funnier are the threads of the autists that paid attention throughout the entire movie but are unable to grasp integral subtleties that are barely subtle to normal people
What a stupid font. What is that even supposed to say?
>Movies which filtered Cinemaphile and revealed them as the pleb clowns they are
Picrel
>inb4 plebbit whining that it's not historically accurate
Looks fricking terrible.
That's not the filtered we're talking about, newbie
>every still is inherently green
Nice grid lol
>b-but why did he kill the taxi driver?
Why did he kill the taxi driver? The taxi company owner saw his face too and he spared him. How did he not get arrested? Why was he so dumb?
This is a genuinely awful movie, its so bad that it sparked debate about whether it was an intentional comedy or not
I'm convinced people are just trolling about it at this point. No way everyone can be so fricking stupid.
This board is full of Armond-esque contrarians but the difference is that Armond is smarter and funnier than your average poltroony

>it's soulless because it doesn't look like it was filmed in the 70s with too much grain and bad lighting
lmao shut the frick up

Lol, no you fricking newbie. By the 00s they already were ancient
I thought it was great. I want to marry Lily Gladstone
It was okay nothing special. Also it was really weird. When will DeCaprio stop playing a young man?
Dicaprio's over the top accent was pretty irritating tbqh.
Should have been a podcast.
literally buck broke everyone evil
Right now the only movie I am actually hyped for its the sequel to this.
>wearing two different shoes
wat
Same shoe
The only ones I remember crying about this were Christians because it was too "violent".
/pol/anons want to believe that liking this film means they're decent human beings lol

Le edgy redditor trying to meme on le haxxor site. Babbies first joke. No gold for you stranger.

movie is mediocre, nothing original on top of being sanctimonious, Scorcese lost it long ago and can frick off
My only question is where does he keep getting the funds to continue making movies? The last few films (including this one) were all flops financially.
Few Options (2011). Its the serious, grown-up version of Ride. My man Kenny makes short work of that Goose. The ending had me explode out of my chair
Not enough Calvin Coolidge

Benx (name means AmWorthless, ben = am and x is similar to niks which is worthless) a autistic mmorpg player not having a good time in the world

But this is based on a real story you moron https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osage_Indian_murders
>it's a real story, you have to like it
Completely missed my point

I can't believe that Scorsese would make a movie from the point of view of the criminals! When the frick has that ever happened before?!
It was originally from the perspective of the Jesse Plemons character but DiCaprio and Scorsese agreed he wasn't very interesting and they were right.
Saw it in theaters and the dynamite explosion scene was loud enough that the sound waves blew my shirt back holy frick what kino
LILY GLADSTONE....WTF ? FAT . I MEAN REALLY FAT, PLAIN AND HOMELY, CANT ACT FOR SHIT.
" YOU'VE GOT THE PART ! "
WTF ????
The white devil was truly evil and diabolical. Thank you Marty for opening my eyes
Alright, ill bite. What is the appeal of watching this film?
