i was figuring this thing wouldn't just be a flat 1 to 1 swap like all the other au's. for example, izu already sort of stands as her own character with her own motivation and goals, even if she is just the opposite of uzi. outpost-6 is very much the anti-outpost 3 in their societies, but it is not just the opposite of o3, if you get what i mean. should be the same for the other characters, they should be more spiritually opposed to their canon counterparts than aesthetically

Love the green, I can really see canon Alice doing all of that, also an interesting thought to imagine her interacting with other WDs. The artwork is also really good, I said it last thread already but the design you gave her fits and is very original, most outstanding is the knife-snowflake on the tail end, tho I didn't expect it works as a weapon too. Not just the design but the style as well, it looks awesome and the longer you view it the more little details and strokes can be seen, like the realistic light reflections from the lightlines on the tailknifes edges or the metallic look of the arms, legs and antlers, I know it took a lot of time and effort but it sure was worth it!
Am just happy to see people still making Alice stuff of such quality after the demoralising last thread. Thanks for posting it, gotta go now really tho, I will try getting out a good one these days as well, too late for Christmas but I should really make a proper one for her.

Here's a question I guess. Do you think the Solverpede require only live worker drones only in rebuilding its host (like J)? Does it consume specific parts or do you think if one Solverpede were to form in an outpost full of dead workers, it wouldn't be able to remake its host and will be forced to find live ones?
Why would it require living drones? Solverpedes collect material, there's no specification that it requires material from living drones. If you look back at Episode 2, in the area where the J Solverpede first activates it looks like the Solverpede had been taking huge parts of the walls apart. I'm assuming that if a Solverpede got outside to one of the corpse Spires, terrible things may happen. That might be one of the things that will happen in Ep 7 and 8.

I'd argue that L, H, and B are canon-compliant insofar as their creator accounts for the fact that the DD's aren't actually creations of a corporation, and that their real mission on a given planet they're deployed to is to retrieve something from a lab that will help generate a singularity from their spire even if they don't know it, and other teams of disassembly drones may have come before them and failed. That jibes with the rules of the universe as we presently understand them. OC's that hinge on the idea of DD's being human-made products who actually are getting their orders from a corporation and were expressly designed to address human laws regarding disassembly of rogue AI's are full-on elseworlds at this point.
But what if they're presenting DDs as still created by Cyn but mass produced by corporations

Jesus my fricking reading comprehension. I get what you're talking about. The possibility of Cyn having used Tessa as her "face" to the world and basically Trojan horsing humanity via the disassembly drones still exists within the realm of canon. We don't have enough of a time table between the gala massacre and earth getting destroyed to say what happened or how long bit took. I'd say that's currently canon-compliant but it's reliant on extrapolation to the point that it's a little precarious and might be torpedoed by the next episode.
I don't care how likely it is that it'll be ruined in the next episode, I will ride this theory/headcanon until I die

Thanks for writing this out. When I read them I can match them to my memory of the show but it's so hard to keep track. The designs aren't very distinct from one another in my opinion. Guess you just have to have a certain flavor of autism to keep up.

I've heard this multiple times and I don't quite get it. The characters have the same base design, yes, but they're all either color-coded or differentiated by headwear/hair. You only have to look for one detail to tell them apart.
I think it would have been less of an issue if there were more time to introduce each important character and establish them. But the pacing of the show doesnt really allow for it. Too much going on at once. Not their fault, but it makes it all hard to remember for the casual viewer.
Fair enough. The pacing is most charitably described as "brisk". I do wish that each episode had maybe an extra 5 minutes run time just to let character interactions breath more.
frankly they should’ve just halt the entire storyline, return to the surface, and live out slice of life hijinks a la episode 1 as was intented

Personally I'd be bored by that and probably wouldn't be anywhere near as excited for the next episode but to each his own.
I can slightly understand it. During the first two episodes for some reason I was having a lot of trouble distinguishing V from N and it didn't really click properly until episode 3.
In episode 2 I thought that Ladder-bot 5000 was Khan because of the moustache and got confused when Khan showed up again. Same thing happened again in episode 4 with the guy driving the schoolbus.
Looks like lizzy drank a bit to much alcohol. At least anon get to see a "cool trick" from lizzy
