He was a good king. Don't you trust historic records??? Not a single man alive to claim otherwise
>brings horse to a halt
>bellows name of town out loud
>continues galloping
>driving on the highway in Paris
>see the Eiffel tower in the distance
>stop car
>"ah Paris, the heart of the French cul-ACK"
>rear-ended and causing a huge pileup with dozens dead
>killing dozens of french people
probably get a knighthood for that
>stop car
>get robbed
>french people
>just outside Paris
I don't have an "X to doubt" jpg big enough for this one
The Mouth of Sauron was armed though. He was about to make a move. Luckily Aragorn had his Numenorean-sense and got it on.
They made a toy biz figure of this dude as well? Rad
Imagine trying to apply logic in the same sentence as "Evil Wizard" lmao lord of the rings is so fricking gay literally harry potter for incels
>incels
I didn't know transfolx lived LOTR
>"Look, I had to get it on man. He wuz makin' a move. I had to get it on."
Wasn't he a servant for the evil wizard? He must have done some bad shit.
>it's ok to do war crimes because he was le evil
that isn't how the ''good'' guys should behave
Did he ever say he was "good" Black person?
Yes.
>it's ok to do war crimes because he was le evil
You need a soul to have a war crime committed on you. SauroBlack folk and Chinks don't.
you sound just as bad as them, you don't fight evil by doing evil
God Forgives. All heathens go to hell.
>war crimes
There is no such thing as "war crimes", it's all just bullshit the winning side of a conflict says to frick over the losing side even more
The russians and britished killed and raped german civilians by the thousands after and during the war.
Americans raped japanese woman so much and often they forced the japanese government to pass a law forbidding japanese citizens from reporting crimes committed by americans that were occupying their country.
Nobody talks or cares about these things because they won. When you win the war everything you did before and after is justified because you get to write the "truth"
I care
You are only as good as the world allows you to be.
It was for Frodo, though. You're allowed to commit warcrimes for Frodo.
>in cold blood.
It was a declaration of war. The mouth was a soulless puppet.
>horrendous monster mouth nightmare creature
>innocent
What the hell even was he? It seemed like a fair kill
Just a dude with janky teeth and a weird hat-mask, he really was a diplomat attending negotiations as a representative or "Mouth" of his ruler and depending on how you view saurons spiritual nature, possibly a priest.
Killing him in cold blood was a big nono.
The Mouth was a foul corrupt heathen who didn't belong on this middle-earth.
OP sucks ork wiener
>hehe we just brutally and sadistically tortured your little hobbit friend
Innocent my ass
Good frick yourself already with that shit thread. Our laws do not apply to the LOTR universe
Come at me, bro.
The lard of the black land came farth. Justice was done upon ham.
Don't let israelites take root
One of the only frickups from Jackson.
The scene where the elf dude just lets the human dude walk away with the ring from the volcano is pretty awful as well.
No.
>hero is momentarily overcome by a terrifying murderous bloodlust
>gimli drops this corker
And with that witty one liner, the day was saved.
funny one liners were nice before moronic super hero movies decided that 40% of the movie should be funny one liners
Yeah I actually think it works really well here. And I like that Aragorn gets so angry he loses his shit for a moment, even if it isn't true to the books.
Jackson did manage to add enough action and humor to the trilogy without raping the original book(s). And then he destroyed The Hobbit
>And then he destroyed The Hobbit
He was just paying tribute to his idol, The Hobbit were his prequels
Oh God why.
It's because in the MCU slop the characters don't behave like themselves, they behave like unfunny quipping machines and all of them are just different cosmetics of the same character because of it.
he insulted him a lil bit.
FAITH AND BEGORAH, COULD THAT FELLA WHAT LARDS OVAR THE BLACK LAND COME FARTH?
>'Is there anyone in this rout with authority to treat with me?' he asked. 'Or indeed with wit to understand me? Not thou at least!' he mocked, turning to Aragorn with scorn. 'It needs more to make a king than a piece of elvish glass, or a rabble such as this. Why, any brigand of the hills can show as good a following!'
>Aragorn said naught in answer, but he took the other's eye and held it, and for a moment they strove thus; but soon, though Aragorn did not stir nor move hand to weapon, the other quailed and gave back as if menaced with a blow. 'I am a herald and ambassador, and may not be assailed!' he cried.
>'Where such laws hold,' said Gandalf, 'it is also the custom for ambassadors to use less insolence. But no one has threatened you. You have naught to fear from us, until your errand is done. But unless your master has come to new wisdom, then with all his servants you will be in great peril.'
This guy sounds King Charles levels of pampered
Imagine being Jackson knowing that you broke Gandalf down to tears because he couldn't stand sitting in the green screen prison you sat him in
Are those screens or just pictures? Why didn't they just use guys in green suits to stand in?
yeah but gandalf is a gay drama queen so whatever
bait post aside, the mouth of sauron is a very cool character. hes an evil numenorian and the wizard apprentice of sauron and doesnt die in the books so he probably escaped off into sand Black person lands to start his own caliphate
I choose to believe the cancelled sequel Tolkien started had him as the villain. The same way Sauron as Morgoth's lieutenant slipped through the net and became Dark Lord, so does this guy.
>The same way Sauron as Morgoth's lieutenant slipped through the net and became Dark Lord, so does this guy.
i believe thats literally stated by tolkien somewhere. these evil lords keep making mini versions of themselves
Trickle down evil overlordy.
Yes, Hackson is a hack.
That's not his name.
Total orc death
Why would he even come out to negotiate with them if he knew they could easily kill them all and that was their best option.
He was asking for it
He didn't expect them to be deranged enough to kill a messenger
why exactly are orcs the bad guys again? do we ever get to hear their side of things? did anyone think for a second to listen to what they have to say? i think this story might be a case of unreliable narrator, why are the men ''good''?
deleted scenes are even canon, shut the frick up. this wasnt in the theatrical cut
ESL
the scene was cut off from the theatrical release so it didnt happen
I mean if a diplomat is bragging about murdering your friend, maybe he isn't a very good diplomat. Maybe Isreal should be nuked
>Sauron's diplomat said something I didn't like so it's ok to kill him in cold blood
just because you disagree with his politics doesn't give you the right to kill him, why does this even have to be explained?
Philosophygay here.
The moral is that the scene conveys is that, a certain primitive level, evil cannot be reasoned with. It simply requires that we are willing to slay it where we find it.
The caveat being that we should always take special and severe precautions that we really are dealing with evil on that level. Once we are, then the only appropriate course of action is to swindle it and kill it.
>'It is prohibited to kill, injure or capture an adversary by resort to perfidy. Acts inviting the confidence of an adversary to lead him to believe that he is entitled to, or is obliged to accord, protection under the rules of international law applicable in armed conflict, with intent to betray that confidence, shall constitute perfidy' (Article 37(1) of the Protocol Additional to the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, and Relating to the Protection of Victims of International Armed Conflicts (Protocol I), of 8 June 1977)
Aragorn-is-the-good-guy bros, our response??
