Forge is a later mutant, 90s had a bunch of Native American characters that now don’t show up since it’s not cool anymore , his powers are kinda weird, and they even white washed him in a 2000s cartoon.
Because he’s not a genius, he doesn’t understand science or anything, he can just autistically build shit. If you asked him to explain the mechanical properties or function of something he built he’d be like idk man just try it out see what happens.
