No wonder the style is anime and not rugged, its for women! I think they're trying to replicate the success of Harley Quinn.
Predictions: The series will mainly focus on investigative journalism. Lois will be the main driver of events, a competent ass-kicker but too bold and often gets in over her head requiring Superman to save her. Clark is dorky and sweet, he loves Lois but Lois loves Superman. Superman will come out once an episode or so but not usually for very long, and his super-related problems will more typically revolve around concealing his powers or balancing his life than defeating some supervillain. It will be a moderate success and cancelled after a couple seasons.
