I have an infatuation with all the Tony Scott/Denzel Washington films. Deja Vu is probably my favourite of them all, so it had to go up there. It's the best of the digital, big-budget American films imo. Yes, it has flashy editing and spectacle (an awesome, multi-dimentional car chase in this), but it's a very romatic film that's focused on its actors, unlike a Michael Bay film.
The castration reference felt really oyt of place in Let The Right One In. Apparently is a whole subplot in the book but in the movie itvjust confuses things, wish it would have been taken out. It adds a whole weird kind of troony element to the movie it didn't need.
