>They really should have gotten rid of Fiona after season 3 and given Michael a new love interest.
Yep. Fiona was by far the worst part of the show. If they had cast literally any hot young actress with some acting ability instead of that wrinkled hag the show would have been that much better. I always rolled my eyes whenever they treated her like the hottest woman in miami and used her as eye candy bait to distract these drug dealers and criminals they were trying to con.
Occasionally she looked hot or even cute. But most other times she really was a mummified leathery corpse. Any time she was on camera 10 seconds before or after a normal woman in a bikini it was hilarious.
As a kid I really appreciated the blatant perky nipples poking through everything she wore though.
Catch a young Fiona in "If Looks Could Kill" which is a fun Bond spinoff vehicle for Richard Greico who was a huge star once. She's a cutie in it though, same basic personality as Fiona
Jesse made sense and worked for a bit. Once they fix his life and he goes private, he completely becomes pointless and only sticks around because he was contractually obligated to stick around.
I thought the show would rebound once Michael got back in the CIA's good graces. I was looking forward to seeing him operate as an official agent. Or it would have even been cool if the CIA used Michael as an unofficial oof the books domestic asset. But no they went back to the whole betrayal, getting burned and on the run thing.
>But no they went back to the whole betrayal, getting burned and on the run thing.
They pretty much had to. The show is called 'Burn Notice' and is all about him finding out who burned him. If he's just back to being an operator it falls apart.
didn't they do the "laser pen sets off a sprinkler system" thing in this show too?
like there's a kernel of truth but the reality is always needing something higher quality, much more exposure time and be targetting older and shittier systems with less current (for the time) protection to begin with.
Why the hell was she oirish anyway, she was supposed to be ex mossad.
Same with SoA, fricking micks make terrible antagonists/tacticool threats/crime lords
Yeah i know that, but it doesn‘t make any sense.
How the frick would she get the training and skills she has by hopping through the potato patches of Ulster?
Also the old hag portraying her is a fricking pajeet
>record breaking heatwave about to hit >heat wave mostly in south England >news reports every distrcit in London will be nearly 40 degrees
London about to get alot more white

They're from fricking desert countries. A little heat isn't going to phase them.
I will never forgive Michael for this. Frick that disgusting slag Fiona. I hate her so much. She's a terrorist and has the gall to judge people. Frick her. FRICK.
Whenever shows like this start consistently moving away from: >A-Story: Case of the Week >B-Story: Mytharc
to: >A-Story: Mytharc >B-Story: Case of the Week
is when they go to shit.
I think he has admitted his Irish accent was bad. Not David Boreanaz Angel bad but pretty bad. I thought his Boston accent was over the top but he was born and raised in Massachusetts. He actually speaks Russian too which is pretty cool.
If anybody's looking for more spykino, Patriot from a couple of years ago is really good
It's a totally deadpan black comedy about a depressed spy who has to do one simple job, where everything goes completely wrong from the beginning
Absolute quality
What's the first thing or episode you always think about when someone mentions the show?
For me it's the asian surfbro housesitter that talks like a keanu reeves parody that gets his girlfriend kidnapped.
The first thing I think of is Michaels's style. The first episode is the one where Michael and Bly are held captive by Crowley and his bank robbing crew.
>What's the first thing or episode you always think about when someone mentions the show?
I remember Michael's lessons.
Some stuff is not so easy to replicate (can of cofee and thermite to disable engine block) but you can have good fun making a bomb out of a microwave and bleach haha
>now I'm helping struggling civilians make it in this dangerous city
>this is michael for you
> I graduated from one of the CIAs top spy schools, with really good grades
>eating yogurt in 100 degree heat 99% humidity
> slaying Irish pushy
>hanging with Sam Axe
with Sam Axe
I think you mean Chuck Finley
I think you Sneed Frickly
KKV248
It was The Equaliser in Miami and was kino up until the point they ruined the three-way dynamic by adding a Black.
he wasn't even a Black person just american
all americans are Black folk
He was unnecessary and added nothing.
actually what ruined it was the whole overdone backstory thing
Jesse was actually a good addition I liked him
Yeah Jesse was alright. They really should have gotten rid of Fiona after season 3 and given Michael a new love interest.

>Meanwhile the DP is getting close ups of the asses of hot women in thong bikinis.

She was in Scent of a Woman as well. Also was shocked to know she's half indian.
>spends 90% of her screen time in bikinis, pointy nips or waving her feet around
>is played by a piece of beef jerky
Thanks for the attempt I guess?
I like jessy as well I think he is not a Black person but a cuban like laguera or the guy with the hat in dexter
Jesse made sense and worked for a bit. Once they fix his life and he goes private, he completely becomes pointless and only sticks around because he was contractually obligated to stick around.

Michael was never an "official" agent of the CIA. He was always working as a deniable asset.
>But no they went back to the whole betrayal, getting burned and on the run thing.
They pretty much had to. The show is called 'Burn Notice' and is all about him finding out who burned him. If he's just back to being an operator it falls apart.
>the equalizer in miami
Nope, it was the perfect mash-up of Miami Vice, the A-Team, and MacGyver
I was going to ask, watching it and just got up to this episode and immediately put off. Is it worth sticking with to the end?
I stuck through it right to the end but it's all downhill.
I GOT A BONER
Is this show any good?
yea
does shinning laser pointers at security cameras really disable them?
social engineering tips were really based in this show
Not the ones they used in the show, but if you had one of the more powerful handheld lasers it would do damage.
didn't they do the "laser pen sets off a sprinkler system" thing in this show too?

Same with SoA, fricking micks make terrible antagonists/tacticool threats/crime lords
>she was supposed to be ex mossad.
No, she was ex-PIRA.
>fricking micks make terrible antagonists/tacticool threats/crime lords
Categorically untrue.
Yeah i know that, but it doesn‘t make any sense.

Let's be real here, the Irish are the sirs of Europe.
God I miss him so much bros
The Brits are literally sirs now.
>record breaking heatwave about to hit
>heat wave mostly in south England
>news reports every distrcit in London will be nearly 40 degrees
London about to get alot more white
They're from fricking desert countries. A little heat isn't going to phase them.
Yeah I always thought she was kinda beat
>micks make terrible antagonists
Patriot Games would have been more apt.
anon did you forget the plot of ronin?
The 3rd act of Ronin is forgettable.
apologize
such a comfy show
I will never forgive Michael for this. Frick that disgusting slag Fiona. I hate her so much. She's a terrorist and has the gall to judge people. Frick her. FRICK.
Wasn't there also a hot police detective he had a chance with?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_Bloodgood
Yes, orders of magnitude hotter than Fiona.
The show really went to shit when 80% of episodes were about the "arc" and not fricking with small time crooks, like season 3 or 4 or whatever.
It should have stayed on The Equaliser track.
Whenever shows like this start consistently moving away from:
>A-Story: Case of the Week

to:
>A-Story: Mytharc
>B-Story: Case of the Week

Many such cases.
I just finished it last week, comfy kino.
Also Chuck Finley is the best character
I could never figure out if the actor actually thought his undercover accents were legitimately good.
I think he has admitted his Irish accent was bad. Not David Boreanaz Angel bad but pretty bad. I thought his Boston accent was over the top but he was born and raised in Massachusetts. He actually speaks Russian too which is pretty cool.
some Fiona's Irish accent was worse even though she's a Brit.
Mostly thanks to Bruce Campbell
>Mostly thanks to Bruce Campbell
True, shame there was never a Tachyon the Fringe film, with Bruce doing not only voice acting but also acting.
I remember reading that Fiona's actress has been in the US so long that she has trouble going back to her old English accent.
He'll always be pope for me
should i watch this show
wasnt daniel jackson in it
Yes he was kino
What were Michael's best disguises? As you can see here he is wearing a suit. They'll never see it coming.
Liked the show, I don't know why but something about it worked, characters, actors and how it all edited together.

Don't know why they cancelled that absolute kino. Michael dorman is great, him and kinoman made For all mankind watchable
Pic related was vastly superior, but it sure as hell wasn‘t because of Olyphant
Justified was FX & Sony Pictures. Burn Notice was the goddamn USA Network and had no business being that good.
I only ever watched this in parts but I love Jeffrey Donavan after Blair Witch 2 and of course Bruce Campbell, and Miami is always a kino setting.

For me it's the asian surfbro housesitter that talks like a keanu reeves parody that gets his girlfriend kidnapped.

Spies? Bunch of b***hy little girls.
for me it's the drug dealer neighbour
The first thing I think of is Michaels's style. The first episode is the one where Michael and Bly are held captive by Crowley and his bank robbing crew.

Why doesnt he get more work? He's not a terrible actor
Soon™
What ever happened to spy posting?
>as a spy
>Anyways they're called GOOLD. I'm just taking a break for a bit.
