I think they gave up on her in the nimbus episode, but by specifically going out of their way to bring her back from time-goddessness, teasing them in the Observers episode and dangling her as a hidden treat in the classroom scene of Numbericons leads me to believe they want to do something more with her now. It’s funny and the character work is good. Some aspects are better than the modern show imo. There’s a LOT of sex, but there’s a lot of story too, it’s a linear 30-ish hour narrative.
Just my opinion, but I think so. There's some funny story lines and decent character arcs. Morty meets with Kiara again, Unity, Planetina, the citadel, goes back to the Cronenburg dimension, saves Morticia from vampires, etc.

I backed down and decided to check out Unmortricken as my first S7 episode. The voice acting is better than I expected and while there is a noticeable difference with both characters, it wasn’t enough to bother me too much.

My biggest concern before watching the episode was hearing Rick get angry and/or screaming, since I figured that would reveal how bad the voice acting really is, compared to Roiland, but I ended up mostly satisfied with how he sounded when he was chastising Pre-Evil Morty and when Morty triggered the Prime Rick trap.

Depends on Morticia’s personality and honestly self exploration would be an element I’d expect them to address, even in the canon.
Yeah. In general, citadel-morties seem to be more childish or normie than our Morty, so he probably sees them as his inferiors, which is a neat parallel he has with Rick. They really should do at least one episode exploring that.
I think a more naive or innocent Morticia would be better than a Morticia as developed as he is, though.

Yeah, the current staff would probably botch the appeal of Morticia. Instead of the adorkable QT that is genderswapped early Morty they’d probably turn her into a mini-Summer or Space Beth.
Now that I think about it, if the family was ever to get just one more member, Morticia might be the ideal choice.

Another Way Home didn't do too bad during her introduction. The best part about the game is that it semi-sticks with scenarios and behavior just like the show. They don't just immediately start banging. Rick treats her like a broken, defective Morty and even still calls her Morty. She's frustrated and still as timid as Morty. Morty is weirded out by the whole thing and just being awkward
Keep in mind that Rick lost his Morty and was given Morticia before they both got thrown into the same dimension Morty is in.

There’s more porn content than Rick quests, which all involves obtaining portal fluid, which requires you to frick someone.
It’s funny and the character work is good. Some aspects are better than the modern show imo. There’s a LOT of sex, but there’s a lot of story too, it’s a linear 30-ish hour narrative.
Just my opinion, but I think so. There's some funny story lines and decent character arcs. Morty meets with Kiara again, Unity, Planetina, the citadel, goes back to the Cronenburg dimension, saves Morticia from vampires, etc.
Expanding on that, since the other anon mentioned it, it definitely explores your (Morty) relationship with other female characters and you’ll find something enjoyable about each of them. Each relationship with a female starts off awkwardly, but with the more activities you do with them, the more comfortable they are with you. I think the quests you have with Morticia are special because you end up pushing each other outside each of your boundaries because the two of you share a deep connection due to being the same person, but different genders.

Yes. It’s originally called A Way Back Home, but got abandoned until someone picked it up and created a fan-made version of it called Another Way Home. It’s exactly like A Way Back Home, but it turned into a linear visual novel rather than a Meet ‘n’ Frick game.
Plus lots of quality of life improvements. A Way Back Home was terrible to play or try to find scenes you liked
Not to mention the soft lock that occurs when playing the final Confidence Potion quest. All of that is fixed in Another Way Home.

The new voice actors are starting to sound way better, they actually match roiland now.
I backed down and decided to check out Unmortricken as my first S7 episode. The voice acting is better than I expected and while there is a noticeable difference with both characters, it wasn’t enough to bother me too much.
It was an alright episode.
They don’t sound like Roiland but if you can accept that they actually have decent range and fit the current state of the characters well enough (Morty sounds a tad older and Rick sounds a little softer).

My biggest concern before watching the episode was hearing Rick get angry and/or screaming, since I figured that would reveal how bad the voice acting really is, compared to Roiland, but I ended up mostly satisfied with how he sounded when he was chastising Pre-Evil Morty and when Morty triggered the Prime Rick trap.
Don't forget that they're still only dubbing over Roiland's pre-existing voice lines here, so they're forced to match his energy and speed. We might only hear their natural voice work in season 9!
I didn’t like the Meeseeks quest. At first, it looked like Morty had to suck some dick so they can clean the garage and then it got weirder when one of the Meeseeks turned female.
