it got carried by anthony hopkins and some of the smarter themes in the show (one mysterious character was secretly a major investor/bought the company, we dont know what the outside of the park even looks like anymore, what the purpose is), then it went full moron and made it all about lesbian and black prostitute robots rebelling against their controlling overlords in season 2
it would have been better if they simply focused on the shrinking machine at some point
Damn that looks cheap. Is it still worth a watch tho? When my friends were talking about it years ago they acted like this was the most philosophical shit they've ever seen.
Nolan's brother let his wife ruin this with her fumming-nism crap and as soon as they cancelled it he already got a new job directing and producing Fallout. Unbelievable.
there wasnt much potential for this. its just a park of robots doing era roleplaying.... its a miniseries idea at best and it should have stayed a miniseries
for me, the first season was carried by the apparent potential of the series. really it was only getting the ball rolling, 7/10 by itself at best. i remember telling my friends it could be the GITS of western media. granted the subject matter isn't new, i mean with in the space it could've risen to that height. but now we see it only stopped at the 101 level the same time GoT shat the bed, sad.
I liked all of it. The latter seasons are better scifi than the first and it was the best metaphor for israeli control of the world I've seen on TV. The theming of S1 wasn't nearly as deep. If you want a western, just watch a western.
The next trash that director is about to shut out on Prime Video
they went too fast on western stuff and fly too close to sun
Terminator: TSCC
Total Recall TV show
Firefly
>Terminator: TSCC
>Firefly
both these shows were cancelled at their peak though
man i think about TSCC alot, i wonder why it wasnt more popular
>TSCC
That was a good show.
First season works as a mini series well enough
THis. It could have ended right there, and it would have been perfect
that's how i view it. the drop in quality in S2 was insane
This. I was actually hyped when I found season 2 was available. Watched 20min with my gf and we just decided to quit
Beth Greene
OP
are you implying that OP has ever had any potential?
Frick off, Jonathan and Lisa.
Was thinking of watching this. What exatcly went wrong with it?
Weird distorted timeline is season 2, and season 3 and 4 are in the future and are completely void of the cowboy setting.
My advice, watch season 1 and leave it at that

Your friends are posers, but Season 1 is still god tier television
>it would have been better if they simply focused on the shrinking machine at some point
kek
>lets focus on Drama and lots and lots of women and their issues
It's a humiliation ritual

eh its the walking dead problem. the initial premise is sweet, but when it becomes about something else (faction v faction) then it goes to shit.
WE WUZ ROBAWTS
I liked the old man in the black hat story. Stopped watching after season 2.
makes me laugh I have reddit friends who said this show was better than Lost, and now it won't even be finished kek

If Yellowjackets’ s2 drop off worse it was just as bad.
Pretty much any long running show with big budget
for anyone new the first season is perfect from start to finish dont even DONT EVEN watch any other season
Heroes
