Er i forgot
The episode where that one student dies and no one really greaves for him since he was an butthole.
It was a former student and no one recognized he was an butthole except Jane and Daria. It's more about how it turns out everyone thinks Daria is miserable and she's actually quite annoyed by that, and also that Jane is more sentimental than Daria and feels bad about insulting a man who died moments later.
I liked those episodes, Even Jane was avoiding Daria because she couldn't handle her after the butthole died.
>diarrhea
uhuhuhuuhuuhhuhuuhuh
Tpbp
The one where Jackie Chan came to town.
Holy shit, can you frickers stop talking about Jackie Chan? Every day it’s just "Jackie Chan this, Jackie Chan that" I bet you buttholes can’t name 10 different cartoons without Jackie Chan
Jacke Chan Time
My Adventures with Jackie Chan
Jackadaisy
Chan-been Hotel
Samurai Jackie Chan
Jack Chan Squarepants
King of the Chan
Jackie vs. the Forces of Bad
Regular Jackie
Jackie Chan Adventures
The episode where that one student dies and everyone collectively jerk off in his funeral.
The one where teen-magazine personality Val comes to school and spends a day as Daria's "buddy" only to find her insufferable and have a gloomy hit-piece written about her.
They play it all the fricking time on Pluto.
That episode was pretty rad. They realllly tore her a new one, and they were careful not to accidentally make her sympathetic. I appreciate the few wonderful moments where Daria gets to do what we all dream of, speak her mind for a few sentences without being silenced, interrupted, taken away... the salutatorian speech was the perfect icing.
that one... wasn't great. It was awkward, the music was pretty gay, the only real good part of it was Guy Fawkes day, and Jane excitedly parroting his shouts of "BOLLOCKS!"
That one were all the holidays are anthropomorphized.
Why the frick did they went with such a story? was it some kind of April fools episode?
>Why the frick did they went with such a story?
they just did whatever back then. They didnt know what direction to take teh show yet. And for whatever reason if you have a show aimed at women, and you don't focus, they will bring up magic shit.
this kinda cartoons always gives me a sense of fear, beavis and buthead, aeon flux super jail etc idk why
I really like Daria, but I hate being reminded of my teenage years. It is like listening to an album during some dark times and then having all those memories return whenever you hear any of the songs again.
shit, as bad as my teen years were, I still miss it. I miss being healthy, energetic, the POTENTIAL for things getting better. If anything ever went right in my life now, I'd just be angry. Like really? NOW?
This is a scary thought, but I believe you in, anon. Whatever you are trying to do, I believe you can do it. I mean it, too.
I believe in me too! and you too anon!
just not this world. and that's okay, it's not ours. the guy whose world it is has made it clear that we are allowed to ruin it, and most people have taken that opportunity. even though he warned them what would happen. we just gotta wait til he changes his mind or scraps it and starts over.
Fear. Fear. Feeeaaaar.
i'm afraid too, but i'm only afraid of my own discomfort. Nothing significant or meaningful can go wrong in the long term.
man I loved that one King of the Chan where Dale gets the horse talisman and is excited he can smoke all he wants
bingo. No story has ever captured my experience as well as that. and it was made before I was born
I liked the show but it's been years since I saw any of it
I find it holds up to rewatching every few years.
though it's mildly annoying since ideally i wanna watch it with the original music, since it tends to be like, on-theme, and one time even halfway referenced.
and stream sites have a bad habit of throwing in Noggin edits.
The one where she gets dpd in the back of the van while Jane films it
The one where she babysits
>i can hope and i can dream and i am full of
>full of
>full of
The one where Jane goes to art school or whatever and thinks she might be a lesbian.
that one was great. they accurately depicted how that chick confusing her was doing so utterly selfishly, and was a lousy person.
>that one was great. they accurately depicted how that chick confusing her was doing so utterly selfishly, and was a lousy person.
surprised they managed to slip that in. I know they had a bunch of libs and probably some lbgt working on the show. Surprised they included that small detail of "yeah, some lesbians are pieces of shit"
I think that was Is it Summer Yet? or Is it College Yet?
Without checking my list I can only remember these:
Boxing Daria
Camp Scare
now I see it was Is It Fall Yet?
The one where Quinn meets a girl in college, and she has like 1 beer at a arty and Quinn thinks shes an alcoholic.
The one where her, Kevin and Brittany get stuck on the roof.
The one where Jane realizes Daria is kinda b***h, and won't accept cash for forgiveness. I think that one Jane is making counterfeit paintings?
The actual plots weren't memorable but the big emotions had licensed music that fit the times. It was the goth and nerdy girl before they were mainstream, It had the bimbo be something more, but at the beginning she was just the bimbo, and overall a shoehorned message, but hey it was MTV, you were supposed to remember the relationships and drama.
Also Daria being into Trent is creepy, and that him being completely uninterested in Daria is funnier to me
>Also Daria being into Trent is creepy, and that him being completely uninterested in Daria is funnier to me
its funny, and sad, that if you grew up in the 90s, a real trent would have totally fricked real daria. Band guys in the 90s were often losers and creeps.
The one where Daria's dad has a heart attack, forcing her to admit his mortality to herself for the first time. Accepting this grim new knowledge is made especially difficult by the constant yammering assault by two talentless and brainless so-called radio personalities, and that's why Daria is mental in the morning
Is It Fall Yet?
(Yeah, I know. It's actually a movie, and not an episode, but still...)
>La la la la la....
I liked the one where the boys went go karting.
Quinn the Brain
Arts n Crass
there's that one where she dresses up as her younger sister
i have no clue about episodes titles though
Daria - S02E03 - Quinn the Brain:
- Season 3 episode 1. Daria!
- Season 3 episode 4. Depth Takes a Holiday
- Season 3 episode 10. Speedtrapped
- Season 4 episode 1. Partner's Complaint
- Season 4 episode 2. Antisocial Climbers
- Season 4 episode 7. Of Human Bonding
Jane's Addition
I Loathe a Parade
Groped by an Angel
>the one with the homeschooled boy that made Daria a necklace
>Daria getting a bellybutton piercing
>the one where everyone has an existential crisis
>Daria and Jane making an anorexic art piece
The Misery Chick, the one where the old quarterback gets crushed to death under a goalpost dedicated to him
I only remember that "horror" episode, where Trent's(?) car breaks down in front of a run-down house with the group and they each make up a shitty spooky story about it to pass the time.
