All three of you are moronic. OP asked for "iconic and memorable" and "No Time for Caution" from Interstellar perfectly qualifies, regardless of your personal thoughts on the track, the composer, or the movie.

There really hasn't been a defining new IP with score to match in that time frame. Unless you count the fricking Avengers theme but that was composed prior to 2014 afaik

      Maybe uhhhhhhhhh
      Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I dunno most of the iconic pieces of film music from the decades prior were written by john williams and in the last yen years he's only worked on projects with already established themes.

i never understood the hype around joker, watched it on tv and it wasn't "great" as people were acclaiming it.

That's because it was extremely astroturfed everywhere and the entire "incel uprising" was an outstanding marketing campaign, and since this site is now overrun with tourist and gaydditors, it's not unexpected they'd cave under peer pressure.

True Detective isn't a film, HOWEVER it was shot on film. I wonder if OP will allow it.

Doesn't count because it's a song from a band, not the show's score

Off the top of my head:
      Gladiator
John Williams' new themes for the prequels
      Lion King
      The Matrix
      Braveheart
      Lord of the Rings
      Pirates of the Caribbean

Salty b***h. That time had obviously much more memorable music than the last ten years. Lord of the rings, titanic, jurassic park, matrix, fight club, amelie, American beauty, Harry potter were all happening in that time frame.

Have you ever gone to listen to live music soundtracks? There's going to be a showing of Zimmer, Morricone and Williams in my town but it's pricey. I was wondering if the experience is worth it.
