He rarely did drugs and was a very light, recreational user
Laws are bullshit on a personal level, people do what they must

That was literally Tony's mission throughout the series. LCN meant dogshit to him. The main conflict of the series is him trying to break as many rules as he can to maintain power.

Some of the people he had killed were murdered strictly for business reasons, like the French Canadian guy who Bobby killed. He died because he didn't want to give his ex full custody of their child, so her brother got Tony to murder him in return for a more favourable percentage on a business deal. Tony may not have pulled the trigger but he did murder that guy just so that he could increase his personal fortune by like 0.4%

Bobby was a fricking made man. A career criminal who at one point demanded more responsibility than simple loan sharking. Just because he was a jovial fatty doesn't make him some pure untainted soul

A made man because of his father, a capo because Jr liked him, Tony's number 3 because he was married to Tony's sister. He never did anything worse than hit a Black person before Tony made him kill a person
And he was a good husband, didn't do drugs, didn't have a goomah, was a good father to his kids, he was loyal, he visited Jr in the old people home, worked hard and rose to each occasion every time he was given an opportunity

Bobby got a pretty easy ride in his mob life thanks to his father and then later being close to the sopranos. Despite being Tony's little favourite, Chris still had ro work much harder.

David Chase was genuinely upset that people liked the characters and so decided to dial them being shitty to up to 11 and make the show less "fun". Another creator who failed to understand his own creation, which was proven beyond doubt by that shitty movie.

You're supposed to like the characters in every crime film or show, and the reason they always have to meet their downfall is to show you your own shortcomings. Crime cinema is a giant troll. It appeals to everything vain and horrible inside of you and then deflates it.

    Kill ralphie
    Get rid of Furio
    Kill Chrissy
If any of these 3 had been present in the soprano crew, they would have won or at least not lost miserably to new york
The silvio hit, if chrissy had been there they would have both survived, Furio would have gotten rid of Phil
