not good. It's a feature length music video and I don't like the music they chose.
Watched it right after watching The Killer, which was also not good. Half the movie is a guy mumbling inanities to himself and the other half is a Smiths soundtrack. I like the Smiths but mix it up a little. The worst thing was the killer fricked up in the dumbest way possible and spent the rest of the film trying to get revenge on everyone who had to deal with his frickup.
But that was the point.

Mulholland Drive, honestly I didn’t like it. It seemed promising at first and after reading about it afterwards I do appreciate it a little bit more, but man it was hard to sit through. Scenes were all very slow and drawn out, the first two hours gets thrown out the window towards the end (yeah I get it but come on) and I really didn’t like the brunettes face taking up 80% of the camera the entire time. When they find the dead body I thought shit was gonna get crazy but that was right before the turning point. Kino lesbian scenes though, wasn’t expecting that. Much prefer eraser head, that movie disturbs me in ways I have trouble finding elsewhere

The race scenes were ok. The cars sounded amazing. Apparently the cars were real and not replicas or kit cars. The crashes with CGI were kinda cheesy. I would say it's more of a dramatic movie instead of a motorsport movie. They did do the cliched shift a gear and pass like 2 or 3 times. I would say the racing scenes made up 1/3 of the film at most.

A little more contrived than I remember it being, even a little over the top at times. It's well shot and a good looking movie, theres a great atmosphere to the empty desert roads. The score is pretty effective later into the movie, and Rutger Hauer is effortlessly menacing.
Just saw fellowship of the ring extended in theaters man it was dope, even the hokey theme park crumbling staircase in moria looked amazing on the big screen

Score is a notable comedown from Gojira. I honestly prefer the added American music from the Gigantis cut.
Too many scenes with just silence.
The Godzilla suits face is worse than the Gojira suit but the overall proportions are better especially the legs allowing for more movement.
Puppets for close ups are still just as bad.
