>It's okay to shoot them, Morty they're robots! >[alien guy gets shot and bleeds] >They're not robots, Rick! >It's a figure of speech, Morty! They're bureaucrats! I don't respect them!
Well, there's one.
r&m had great moments thruout seasons 1-2, its clearly someone wanted it to be a fun absurdist comedy show, but someone else wanted it to be all drama and crywanking, and the two butted heads
somehow it went ass southwards in season 3 which is why i just
stopped watching
seriously, its that easy, and im pretty sure nobody is defending this show with all their might so idk why the hell OP even made this thread aside from "oh yeah MOM? if you wont pay attention to me, then maybe anons online will!"
iirc it was dan harmon who kept insisting on the episodic thing, dont know for sure though.
and i think the show still has this infighting for either serialized plots or episodic fun, with the evil morty rift being a fakeout.
man i miss cartoons with silly evil protagonists. are there any new shows that do this? villainous was promising but it seems like they just ended up making the heroes bad.
This copypasta was literally made by sub reddit , I don't get why redditors hated this show so much, every single meme against it was made on reddit, not a single one was made by Cinemaphile

Oh shit it's true.
I'll go for a leftfield choice and pick out the last joke from the show I remember actually liking. Pic related, I always find it funny whenever Rick does some petty shit but this being the punchline to the whole episode was just great. I bet if I go back and rewatch it it's probably not as funny as I remember
>Yo, everyone whose first name begins with an "L" who isn't Hispanic, walk in a circle the same number of times as the square root of your age times ten!
>”There just robots Morty! It’s ok to shoot them!” >Morty shoots bug aliens they bleed and cry over one dying >”They're not robots Rick!” >”It’s a figure of speech Morty, they’re bureaucrats I don’t respect them.”
people are not actually autistic enough to remember then. they usually turn off their brain while watching, Anon
I filled it with diesel
I did some science to me portal gun and now it's also a real gun

PICKLE RICK
PICKLE RICK
PICKLE RICK
Both thePilot and Bushworld had several great jokes, those 2 are by far the best episodes though.
>That's just slavery with extra steps
>Almost always as Superman
>You killed my gun
The show was hilarious when Rick was still a sociopath, current american writers are literally unable to just write a protagonist who is simply evil.
man i miss cartoons with silly evil protagonists. are there any new shows that do this? villainous was promising but it seems like they just ended up making the heroes bad.
literally every single character in this show is fricking evil, what are you talking about?
He's an butthole but he's not a sociopath, episode 1 rick openly didn't care for Morty in any way, feeling zero empathy for his broken legs
>Pickle Rick
>WUBBA LUBBA DUB DUB
>I'M PICKLE RIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK
Also a fourth one
>Actually, you need to have a very high IQ to understand Rick & Morty. The humor is extremely subtle and without a knowledge of...

True, the Szechuan sauce from the Disney movie Mulan, the movie from Disney that inspired the Szechuan sauce

?si=sOz2dkm427egKk_G this is quite a gem
How he was drunk, but tryin to convey to morty that he's not gonna bang jessica or whoever
it was a funny show

That's the only ones I could think of
